Fans of the original Walking Dead slot game by Aristocrat will rejoice with the sequel. Presenting Walking Dead 2! This is a very bright game that can be seen from all around the casino. It is in a very tall cabinet which is the same cabinet as Game of Thrones. It is a very bright green game and is full of free spins, progressives and random features.
Taking a look at the paytables, you will notice that the Rick Grimes symbol is no longer the top character symbol. This game is based around the katana wielding superstar Michonne. Her character symbol is the highest paying symbol. Also included are; Rick, Carol, Daryl, and even Merle! Walking Dead 2 is an amazing looking game, but how about the gameplay? This game takes some cues from Can Can, another Aristocrat success. The wild horde random wilds feature is very similar to Can Can’s high kick bonus. This feature adds wild reels that increase the reel height. There is another random feature, the Michonne attack feature. This feature comes out after a spin and does a “symbol upgrade” to all of the character symbols. This feature has a potential for 2 parts, She can drag her walkers across the screen and fill the other symbols to increase the ways to win!
During the base game the 5th reel is a larger reel set that would actually fill 2 reels. This reel is stacked with large symbols, and a wild multiplier up to 25x! Another symbol that also appears on reel 5 is the free spins bonus symbol and a new jackpot bonus symbol. This brings a new excitement to the suspenseful bonus spin.
The bonus is a traditional setup. You must get 3 “free games” symbols on any of the reels. The jackpot bonus only shows up on reel 5. If you manage to trigger the jackpot bonus, you start picking heads in an aquarium. You continue picking until you choose from one of four progressives. The mini begins at $10, the minor starts at $40, the Major starts at $200, and the grand is starting in handpay territory. You can also get multipliers to increase your progressive wins.
