8/8/2024 - MSC Cruises is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest addition to the fleet, the MSC World America, set to debut in April 2025. This new ship, the second in the World Class series, is tailor-made for the North American market. Its sister ship, MSC World Europa, is currently sailing the Mediterranean.

MSC World America will feature seven distinct districts, offering a variety of experiences for guests. Highlights include the Family Aventura area on the top deck, complete with arcades, kids clubs, and The Harbor—a fun-filled space with bumper cars, an overwater swing, and a trapeze course. For adults seeking relaxation, the Zen area provides a tranquil escape with pools, sunbathing, and soft music.

The ship also boasts a vibrant Galleria with shopping, dining, and six specialty restaurants, including MSC’s signature Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Kaito Teppanyaki, Kaito Sushi, and Hola Tacos. Two new dining concepts are set to be unveiled soon.

One of the standout features of MSC World America is the use of advanced LED technology in the promenade, creating dynamic ambiance throughout the day and offering spectacular visual displays on the ceiling.

As a special treat, MSC World America will host a Cinco de Mayo cruise from May 3-10, 2025, which will include a port stop in Mexico. The cruise will also feature a microbrewery, Masters of the Sea, brewing MSC’s very own beer at sea, along with a Jean Philippe Chocolatier where guests can indulge in fine chocolates crafted on board.
