Celebrity Cruises Status Match: What Cruise and Casino Players Should Know
Celebrity Cruises is part of Royal Caribbean Group, which means loyalty status can be recognized across Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, and Silversea.
Through Royal Caribbean Group's loyalty status match program, eligible members of Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club, Crown & Anchor Society, and Silversea Venetian Society can have their loyalty status recognized across all three cruise lines.
How Celebrity Cruises Status Match Works
If you are currently a member of more than one Royal Caribbean Group loyalty program, your information will be verified and your status will be matched based on the applicable status equivalency chart.
Once verified, your matched status may take up to 7 days to appear. If your status changes, you should receive an email from the program where the new matched status has been applied.
It’s important to note that existing loyalty points are still earned within each individual brand’s program and cannot be combined across Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and Silversea.
However, Royal Caribbean Group has also introduced Points Choice, which gives eligible members more flexibility with future sailings. For sailings departing on or after January 30, 2026, members may be able to request that points earned from a qualifying Royal Caribbean Group sailing be applied to the loyalty program of their choice.

Celebrity Cruises Status Match Benefits
While status can be matched across Royal Caribbean Group brands, benefits may vary depending on the cruise line. Some perks may only be available to guests who earned status directly through that brand’s loyalty program, rather than through a status match.
Before sailing, it’s always a good idea to review the current Captain’s Club benefits and confirm which perks apply to your matched tier.
Celebrity Cruises and MGM Rewards
Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club members may also receive benefits through Celebrity’s relationship with MGM Rewards.
Based on current Captain’s Club tier status, members may receive a complimentary MGM Rewards tier match and access to associated MGM Rewards benefits at participating MGM Rewards destinations nationwide.
Benefits vary by MGM Rewards tier and may include select hotel, entertainment, dining, and resort perks. Not every MGM benefit applies to every matched tier, so members should review their exact MGM Rewards benefits after their match is completed.
To access the MGM Rewards tier match, Captain’s Club members can visit the MGM Rewards desk at any participating MGM Rewards destination. Celebrity also lists MGM Rewards Member Services as 877-713-7171 for additional questions.
For MGM Rewards members sailing with Celebrity, benefits are based on MGM Rewards tier and must be validated before sailing. Celebrity notes that MGM Rewards members may receive perks such as VIP departure lounge access, exclusive quarterly offers, and even complimentary cruise vacations, depending on tier level.
Important note: If you are both an MGM Rewards member and a Captain’s Club member, onboard benefits are non-combinable. Members must choose at the time of booking whether to receive onboard benefits from either Captain’s Club or MGM Rewards.

Celebrity Cruises and Hard Rock
Celebrity Cruises also has a partnership with Hard Rock through its casino program, Blue Chip Club.
Through this partnership, eligible Celebrity Cruises Blue Chip Club members may be able to access offers through UNITY by Hard Rock, while eligible Hard Rock loyalty members may also receive select cruise-related opportunities.
For casino players who enjoy both cruise casinos and land-based casino resorts, this partnership creates another way to turn casino loyalty into more travel opportunities. Can Blue Chip Club Match My Casino Status?
Celebrity Cruises’ casino program, Blue Chip Club, is separate from Captain’s Club loyalty status matching and is based on casino play rather than traditional cruise loyalty. Through Blue Chip Club, players can earn Reward Points and Tier Credits based on their onboard play, which may help unlock future casino offers, benefits, and cruise opportunities.
