7/9/2026 - Cruise travelers have plenty to look forward to with exciting updates from Celebrity Cruises and MSC Cruises. Celebrity Reflection is set to debut a major refurbishment in March 2027, introducing 13 new venues across the ship. Guests can expect new poolside favorites like Orange Peel Bar & Grill and Tacos del Sol, along with fresh entertainment spaces including the Boulevard Lounge, Boulevard Bar, and The Parlor. Outdoor movies and lawn games will also be available at Sunset Park.
The ship's dining options are expanding with the addition of Trattoria Rosa, Fine Cut Steakhouse, and The Porch, while guests staying in The Retreat will enjoy an upgraded sundeck. Beginning next year, Celebrity Reflection will sail three-, four-, six-, and eight-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale.
7/9/2026 - MSC Cruises is also enhancing the guest experience with the launch of its new digital remote check-in service in Seattle for the inaugural Alaska season aboard MSC Poesia. The program allows guests to complete the check-in process at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac) before heading directly to the cruise terminal for boarding. MSC plans to expand this convenient service to additional ports around the world in the future.
7/9/2026 - Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas continues to receive positive feedback from guests for its unique onboard experiences. Highlights include the immersive Royal Railway – Utopia Station dining adventure, the multi-course Supper Club, and the ship's lively casino. Additional ship walkthroughs and behind-the-scenes highlights are expected to be released soon.
