Casino Cruise News 8/13/2026!🎉
8/13/2026 - Construction is officially underway on a new terminal at the Port of Tampa Bay, marking the addition of the port’s fourth terminal. The project is being driven by growing demand for cruising and is expected to open in 2029. Once completed, the new terminal is projected to handle more than 200 ship calls each year, significantly expanding the port’s cruise capacity.
Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas has begun sailing from Galveston, offering six- and eight-night itineraries featuring destinations such as Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau, Roatán, and Cozumel. The Oasis-class ship is scheduled to remain in Galveston through August 2027 before moving to Florida.
The move will make room for Icon of the Seas, bringing the highly anticipated Icon Class experience to Galveston. Together, these developments highlight continued growth in the cruise industry and expanding options for travelers from both Florida and Texas!
