Awesome hotel was there on a sunday and ghost tour was closed so next time I look forward to doing the ghost tour....deadwood is pretty awesome

Bully's restaurant
We were walking down town looking for a place to stop and eat before leaving town and saw their neon sign for restaurant. Once we went in and explored a bit, we found the small almost-hidden-away restaurant and most of the time we were the only 3 there. Our waitress was very nice and watching the cook from where we were sitting was nice. Everyone was kind and good natured and the breakfast was perfect.
They did mention they had new menus coming in because the one we used had a dish that they no longer served. We only learned this after attempting to order it.
Overall it was a very neat little place and a good experience. I recommend!

Great place to stay, beds could be more comfortable and could use better pillows. AC doesn't get real cold 72ish. Slots downstairs which I won $300. Great history and setup, take the ghost tour. Breakfast is great and you can't beat the location.

Very disappointed that such a historical hotel was renovated so poorly. We stayed in the Bullock Suite. It has furnishings that are meant to look historical, but throwing an old trunk at the end of the bed is not my idea of trying to recreate an early 1900's feel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the air conditioner is loud. The room never got any cooler than 72. We even called the front desk and was basically told it's an old building. We thought we'd make the best of our accommodations and use the Jacuzzi tub in the 1980's decorated bathroom. It was dirty and had a nasty soap scum ring around it. It obviously had not been cleaned! I think we could have found a more historically accurate hotel, that had properly working a/c and was actually cleaned if we had done a little research!
