The hotel room was very clean and beds amazingly comfortable. You get a spacious room and bathroom. There is tons to do in this hotel and casino. The pool had a great atmosphere and with the perfect July weather, it was the place you would want to be in if you were not gambling. The casino was great! Great selection of slot machines at different price levels and what can I say about the table games.... I would come back again and stay at this hotel and casino.
So I have been all over Vegas. You can for sure find more luxury, but that isn't the point when you want $$$ vs value. Excalibur is fun, has amenities and options. The rooms feel homey and not a place that you just have to stay. Great value for your dollar and the location is more than ideal. I highly doubt that you would regret having spent your vacation dollars here.

Also we got to check in early which was great, so we recommend going to check in early if you're there because your room might be ready. We didn't try the food. A negative was the smoke smell in the Casino, but that's probably due to the age of the hotel. Drinks of course were expensive, but that's everywhere. Also something that was disappointing was the lack of a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The room was super clean and they had the AC on for us already, and there was a safe in the room for personal belongings. We really enjoyed our stay!
