Great place to stay in Nicaragua. I had a wonderful week staying at Barcelo Montelimar. People are so friendly and they have a great pool.

Montelimar seems like a very nice place to spend with friends and family, rooms are ok... quite comfy and well equipped. Food is just average... free drinks are very low quality. And the craziest thing, they don't have free wifi, for the prize you pay that's the minimum they should offer. Maybe they should catch up with the modern world.

I loved it at Montilimar. We went down twice for the day last time I was in Nicaragua. Nice bar and restaurant. The food was great and the staff was on it although we were the only customers. The pool looks refreshing. There are only a few rooms but they looked comfortable. Great beach with board rentals and shade. We will be back.
