OMG.. THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN TO. THERE IS MOLD IN THE BATHROOM, THE SHOWER CURTAIN AND THE ROD. THE EMPLOYEES ARE MONOTONE WITH NO EXPRESSION ON THEIR FACE. THE FOOD SUCKS AND THE INTERESTING THING THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOU 2 TOWELS A DAY EVEN IF YOURS GET DIRTY OR WET. THE POOL CHAIRS HAVE BIRD DROPPINGS ON THEM. THE POOL WATER IS DIRTY. THE PEOPLE BEHAVE LIKE ANIMALS, SCREAMING RUNNING AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING. I WOULDN'T COME HERE AGAIN IF THEY PAID ME TO STAY HERE. It's a fine place to go if you only care about the beach. The water is clear, shallow and everything you imagine a perfect beach to be. The rooms however.... We stayed on the "Garden" side. They put us (11month-old, my wife and I) in a building that was furthest from the beach. The room was empty except for a king size bed and a wall-mounted tv. The bathroom didn't have a door which would've been weird if our kids were older. There were two windows and both faced construction. The only decent thing to eat was the omelette we had for breakfast. Other than the beautiful beach, the only redeeming factor was the price... But I guess you get what you pay for.

I enjoyed my experience at Be Live Hamaca Beach, but it was apparent that we had to adjust our standards. The room was nice, but had a pungent musty smell. Fortunately, we were able to air it out and the AC worked great. The buffet was good (the coffee and fruit were amazing), but the Italian restaurant had the worst service I've ever experienced. The housekeepers were very helpful when we needed extra supplies.
