I have driven by here on my way to and from Barry University for two years and today I finally stopped in. I called ahead to make sure they were not so busy that I would have to wait. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. I do not consume gluten, so my waiter helped me to make sure that all I chose was gluten free. I had eggplant parmesan and strawberry cheesecake with a graham cracker crust. The red sauce on the eggplant parmesan was fantastic! It was very tasty! This is an excellent eatery. I am glad I finally stopped and checked out Mama Jennie's!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! This is the best place for Italian food. No complaints from all my visits. Great atmosphere. Full bar! Nice to see a family restaurant still going strong.

I been going their over 24 years the food is good. I never waited a long time for anything. Yes you have to ask for things Maybe twice. However I do that at every restaurant.

Took family to dinner here. Been comming here on and off for over 30 years. Had to ask 2 and three times for several items before they remembered to finaly bring them. Asked for second order of rolls...never got them. Both soups almost ice cold. Dinners not much better. Ordered kids meal that comes with cookie...but not told there were no cookies until after meal finished. No offer to sub anything. My wife used to work here years ago. Totally different than used to be. Would not recommend.

Food has been great for years. Light and tasty italian style food. I've only purchased take-out and catering. Really good.

The order took TWO HOURS to arrive (and we live 5 blocks away lol), one of the orders was wrong (chicken instead of eggplant), and honestly the food was mediocre. The hostess on the phone was rude when I was placing the order. I won't be ordering there again. Not worth the wait or the money.

I got married on Feb. 11, 2017. I used them to Cater my wedding. Jennifer was amazing. She went over and beyond for us. Not only was it affordable but she and the wonderful servers helped stack chairs for us so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. I will never forget the pep talk she had with us days leading up to the wedding and it calmed us and made us enjoy our wedding to the fullest. I will use them again in the future. Thanks Again Mama Jennings and Jennifer. I will recommend them to anyone who wants really good catering company.
