I almost didn't review this garbage airport because I'd have to give it one star instead of the zero stars it deserves. Practically every airport or airline employee I encountered both times I was here in the past week were offensively rude. I cannot stress enough how incredibly terrible the staff is. The shops and restaurants are nice, the clerks and servers were polite. They are not the issue, so don't be put off of them.

This airport is horrible. We're on vacation so we've been through several airports. MIA is monstrous. We checked bags, had to get them and recheck them because "that's the way it's always been." Got to go through security twice too. Fun. Needed seat assignments, spoke to one lady who said we needed to wait for the next agent. Waited in line in front of an empty counter until 20 minutes before boarding. Hey, a$$holes! I had to be here 2 hours early! Where are you? I took pictures. I'll find somewhere to post them. Nice of you to be soooooo prompt and professional. I'll make sure to book all future flights away from this place.

I have been traveling in and out of this airport at least a dozen times during the past 10 years or so. I have always been amazed at the cleanliness of the airport, the ease of walking through security, and the comfort this airport provides. I have never experienced rude security guards or inconsiderate travelers. For someone who travels regularly, this airport is one of the best.

Massive airport very close to the heart of Miami. Be ware that security and check in lines can get very long. Amenities are average for a large airport but flight availability gives this airport the highest rating. You can pretty much go anywhere an airplane can reach around the world from Miami International. Don't expect any luxurious treatment from the Miami-style staff though.

My arrival into Miami from Barbados was quick, efficient and straightforward, thanks to the plentiful kiosks available. When transiting through departures to LAX-Australia-NZ the customs officer was amusing and efficient, she really lifted the mood in an otherwise gruelling and tiresome process. Good job guys! From this grateful Kiwi traveller.

I found the Miami International Airport very good and efficient. Immigration was soft and easy. Luggage arrived in time. I changed my flight from International to domestic for Jacksonville. It was a great experience. The local plane for Jacksonville was too small, less than 30 seats. I had to put my luggage in the twin engine small old plane myself. It flew very low from Miami to Jacksonville, houses, vehicles and ground marks were clearly visible.

I've had mostly good experiences with MIA but I've had a few very bad ones as well. From my experience it has been easy to move around the airport. The staff is hit or miss. If you can't speak any Spanish it may be a bit more difficult to get some help. Something I really like about this airport is the great food and beautiful Latin music playing in the background of some stores. It really helps set the vibe for South Florida. Flying through here during the summer can be rough though due to hurricane season.

Very excellent service! I missed my flight and I was able to rebook the same day. Everyone so friendly and if your waiting a bit you can catch a shot of Cuban espresso for $1.95 and this keeps you going and going😄

There is a great variety of places to eat and shop in the airport. I highly recommend Mischa's Cupcakes! They we're delicious! For those who are more concerned with the traveling than the food, everything here runs very smoothly. As a port of entry, the process was very efficient.
