Lobby Bar

I absolutely love to eat here. The ramen and poached eggs are top notch, and they have a nice red wine selection. The atmosphere is great, as is the service.

Lobby Bar

Cool spot for cocktails and bar bites. Cocktail menu was organized by alcohol type, which is pretty cool, and foods were excellent too. All foods were served with no utensils. They will give you a wet towelette, which can be very messy if you order the wrong thing! Place can be very pack... it's a popular spot!

Amazing cocktail menu. They take mixology to a whole new level. Super enjoyable old school music too.

the bartender, the long brown hair one, is very rude, does not do what you ask for and gets all the time looking bad! Terrible!

Initially our bartender wasn't very friendly, that is the reason I will not give 5 stars, but once he got warmed up, he was really cool. No, I wasn't expecting to be entertained by the bartender, I was with a friend and we were having a great time. The problem was the bartender seemed to be "over it" and looked like we were bothering him by ordering drinks, so that killed the vibe a little in the BEGINNING. However, once we got him warmed up, he was great. I had the avocado toast (which had salmon on it) and was ONLY $7 for happy hour. I also enjoyed the old fashion on tap. I absolutely will be returning for happy hour, it was a wonderful experience. I just hope the bartender is a little warmer to patrons. No, it doesn't have to be "Cheers" but its awkward to sit at a bar and have the bartender look so uninterested in everything. Again, great experience, wonderful music, fantastic food, and the bill was only $62 with 5 drinks and 2 appetizers. Not bad.

Love the food. A lot of people can't appreciate the balance of flavors on their dishes. The best chicken wings in town. There atmosphere is quite open and exotic. Great drinks. Prices are on the high side. Parking can be difficult since the hotel valet is pricey.

Though you can find cheaper all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ or a cheaper restaurant, in general, POT is an experience that Chef Roy Choi invites you into. The overall feel, at least for myself, is like I'm at a home. If the decor is any sign, it's supposed to be reminiscent of his parents' restaurant as a child per his memoir L.A. Son. And while every customer that eats there may have grown up differently, the blaring of 90s Hip-Hop and R&B puts me at an extra comfort - sometimes dancing in my chair. As far as the food, there many things to like. The Poke Me (ahi poke) is decadent, the pickled cucumbers is a perfect compliment to any dish; Old School hot pot is what you want to order. Beef, glass noodles, and a spicy broth to fill you up. And if they still have it, the Beep Beep Bowl (uni rice) is another star that sometimes goes unnoticed.

This is a really fun bar to check out. It's pricey though ($15+ for drinks, but they're strong so you get what you pay for). It does get really noisy/packed so getting there early is a good idea.
