Champions Clubhouse Buffet

Food & service is great, but advertising is false. The outdoor sign says $10 for food buffet on certain days, but what it doesn't mention is that the $10 price is only for members, so if you're not a member you pay full price. The outside sign doesn't mention this, not even in fine print. You end up paying full price, after being in line forever.... False advertisement..... Guess that's how they get people through the door.....

Champions Clubhouse Buffet

We went for the horse racing and buffet dinner. The food was great with a lot of options for all ages. We had 8 in our group ranging in age from 18 mos to upper 70's. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We were able to move to a table that was closer to the tracks after the first race started. The races were exciting and there was so much to do! After the races they had a free concert and fireworks! We had an amazing experience, we won a little money betting on the horses, had a great meal and a fun time spent with family. We will definitely do this again!

The conference venue was well equipped, although much too cold. Staff there catering were friendly and professional. Well maintained modern bathroom and lots of parking. I didn't go to the track or casino, but did notice the nasty cigarette and cigar smells near to the entrance of them.

I would say that I have had a positive experience at this casino. My only constructive criticism is that the wine is very cheep. I would be more than willing to pay more for better wine but I wish it was an option. The steak house on the main level has a good selection of wine so I feel like they should bring that selection to the bars upstairs in the casino.

We went to Prairie Meadows for the wiener dog races and had a blast. We were able to find a table indoors near the bathrooms (which were clean and well-stacked) and the bar (reasonably priced). There were lots of places to sit outside, as well as dollar hot dogs, but the weather was so hot, that we thought we'd enjoy the races better in the AC! Dog races were a blast! We stopped at a game on the way out and I won $7 on a $1 bet. Not a bad way to spend a hot summer afternoon, in my opinion.

Great place to stay. The rooms are high quality. The hotel is right across the street from Adventureland, and there plenty of great places to eat on site and nearby. The casino is always fun to visit too.

The gambling is okay, however you will pay an arm and a leg for drinks. For the cost of 8 cocktails you can get yourself a ticket to Vegas for better odds, better comps, and free drinks. They definitely have a captive audience, but the smart gambler should look elsewhere.

Had celebration dinner for my daughters wedding at AJs Steakhouse. Group of 20. Appetizers were spot on. Delicious. Waitstaff was very attentive. Quick to keep table cleared and drinks refilled. Most had steak and seafood dinner. Steak was cooked to perfection. We brought a cake in and was offered to do the serving. 5 stars

Great place to gamble, Thou they need more then one table dedicated to each game if you went up there to play a pacific game good luck getting close to the table most tables can only hold a max of 5 people and there is a wait time of hours if you want a seat. The buffet they use is not temped at all the food is decent but strongly recommend you do not eat the meat they keep on the line as they do not keep track if it and it sits there for hours in the danger zone you could get a fresh slice and the ham and it will be below room temp cold before it touches your lips.

Prairie Meadows is a very nice horse race track and Casino. There is a restaurant where they have a buffet and though the restaurant is very clean, I feel like they should be able to provide more of a variety of foods than what they offer. (They should take a look at Ameristar in Kansas City to better their variety of food offered). There is also a steak house there, which I really enjoyed eating at. Also, they have a beautiful hotel to stay at. The hotel is very nice and very clean. We definitely will stay there again.
