Went there because of the raving reviews but meh. I was looking forward to fantastic biscuits and gravy but what I got was hard, overcooked biscuits and canned gravy. Not impressed at all. I also tried the corned beef hash which was disappointing as well. Also seemed to be overcooked as were the home fries.

I went during lunch and ordered the Pulled Pork BBQ plate (which was marked as a 'Chef's Favorite'). After a lengthy wait, I received my meal which was incredibly messy. The sauce on the pulled pork was more like a broth and soaked the meat, creating a spongey texture. Additionally, the mac 'n' cheese was bland and grainy. The fries, although tasteful, were ruined by the liquidy sauce that spilled across my plate. I'm very disappointed by the lunch, considering the breakfast is superb. The back of house is the primary issue at Winchell's, as my server and the atmosphere was everything I would expect from a traditional sport's bar experience. I don't recommend Winchell's for anything other than breakfast.

We are visiting Lexington Kentucky and Winchells was a great find. Great food & drinks. Very reasonable prices. Our Bartender Brian was awesome, he was super busy and still found time to explain drinks and food items. We will be back for sure.

Their grilled salmon with the cucumber dill sauce is consistently delicious. I chose two vegetables of the day to go with it--garlic broccoli and a squash and zucchini mix. Both were well cooked and tasty.

Great service! Jordan was an excellent server. Really good food and flavors! Good portions. A comfortable and friendly atmosphere. It is a sports bar, but not rowdy. We will be back for sure!

Winchell's is your typical bar and grill. We choose this place for the infamous Hot Brown. It did not disappoint! Our server was super nice and attentive. The dessert is amazing as well (Maker's Mark bread pudding is a must).

Winchell's is awesome. I had the grilled salmon, and they actually cooked it right, unlike a lot of other places. It was juicy, and the sides were done well too. Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back soon.

Love this place. Been here for lunch and dinner and always awesome food and drinks. Had a really nice bartender last time I went, I wish I remembered his name, but he was in thirtiesish and with dark hair. One of these days I’m going to try to get up early enough for breakfast.

The food was good. More old fashion type of food. I gave a 3 star because there were two items we ordered that were on the cold side. Had to wait a bit for hot ones to replace them. Very busy place and if your in a rush it's not where you want to go. Friendly staff. Expect to spend about 40.00 bucks for two people.
