Very fast, friendly, knowledgeable in their profession. Security was a great help when I locked myself out of my car. (Shout out to all you wonderful people.) Clean rooms, smelled a little too smoky, but that is natural in any casino, really. Gives me a good vibe being here. Feels like home. You guys are the best. Thank you so much for helping our community.

Grand Casino Hinckley I have made tons of improvements! The pool is amazing now, and after 11 no kids are allowed. As much as I like my kids when I go to the casino I'm there to unwind. I'm all for family being there but it's nice that they carved out a chunk of time for adults in the pool. Staff is stepped-up a lot more pleasant and helpful. The Grand Buffet now OMG! It's so delicious you get a little corner of every part of the world and the best parts of those corners! Can't wait to go back!

The winnings are far and few in between. When you win, it is minor! I had 71 free spins and got 20.00 dollars. I was betting a 1.20 a spin. You use to be more generous!! How is it that you put profit and gain before people and integrity? It's a gamble for the house only. I will not be coming back. You pour syrup all over your comps, however it makes for diabetes, then insulin shock for the return of little wins.

Grand Casino Hinckley renovated recently, expanding it's gaming floor, revamping their dining offerings, and improving the quality and decor of their hotel accommodations. It's not as lavishly designed or decorated as, for example, Mystic Lake Casino, but is more modern than Treasure island Casino and has much more modest pricing for the variety of it's amenities in comparison to both of it's competitors. From my experience and perspeftve, their slot gaming floor has a plentiful and varied selection of titles and denominations relative to the size of the facility, and a recent trip pointed out a number of times I hadn't found at competing casinos. I will say in terms of criticism I don't much care for their player loyalty program,; from their promotions or complimentary offerings to the machines constantly badgering you to use the player card or having to match dollar for dollar to consume your earned points it generally left a poor impression of their choice in implementation.

The new buffet is awesome! If they would just improve the dessert area it would be a five star place. One tip for mgmt. - steal the chef from Black Bear, or find out where they get their desserts. They have you beat hands down in this area. Casino area was huge, and provides endless hours of entertainment. We will likely be back more often now that the dining option is much improved.

My husband and I started coming to Hinckley around 23 years ago. We have a camper and had been all over the state and then found Hinckley! We loved the campground, the nice sites, the beautiful pool, wonderful restaurants and Kid's Quest! We could finally go camping, drop our kid off, have dinner and a cocktail "alone" for a bit and MaMa could go gambling! Well, that's all changed....I don't know who's running the show these days but boy have they missed the boat. The outside pool heater has not worked for going on the second year and that's my husband's favorite thing to do. (He also checked out the "new" inside pool and said it was small and not heated) We just found out they decreased their staff of shuttle drivers and now will not have shuttles past midnight on weekdays, really? Does the casino close at midnight? Do they want you to leave? There is also decreased shuttle service on weekend days also. They screwed up big time on the new restaurants!!!!!! Personally, I was not a buffet person but the new concept was proven a flop! Now they have brought the buffet back because they say "WE" spoke and wanted it back...you mean you screwed up and no one came so you HAD to bring it back. The Grand Grille which was my favorite place is gone and in it's place is the now obsolete "craft" beer bar/restaurant. Excuse me, nobody up north gives a dang about craft beer. You screwed up the menu and have basically bar fare food. (My husband had a dried out hamburger with an egg on top with a HARD yolk.) The place echo's like mad and the chairs screech on the floor every time somebody moves one. We also had the prime rib which was of poor quality, stringy and dry. The chicken wings which are now smoked were awful and the macaroni and cheese were noodles with some cold cheese sprinkled on top. Personally, I think they have kids, not chefs cooking. The casino "used" to give food comps and were very generous but now you can drop a few hundred a night and maybe get a dollar's worth of comps. Cheap skates! They also "used" to serve free drinks if you were gambling but they took that away and now charge outrageously for drinks. It also seems like they depleted their cleaning staff...when I was there beer bottles, ashes etc. were all over the place. They are also adding extra charges here and there on if you come early, leave late, don't return your key card etc. All in all, the casino no longer deserves the FIVE star rating it USED to have. I am not alone in this review. We have a gang of campers and many many friends who have frequented this casino and this is what EVERYONE says. All in all, it's very disappointing coupled with the fact that you can't win either! I know you can't win every time but you may as well just burn your money at the door because you can't sit there with a hundred dollar bill past a half an hour. (Not just me either). So, I guess I've spoken my piece about how Hinckley "not" Grand "anymore" Casino has gone down the tubes. We used to come up there at least five to ten weekends a year plus vacations not to mention some winter outings in the hotel but that will now have to be our past and not our future. We'll be cancelling our future reservations. I don't know where we'll go because Hinckley was the best but I do know one thing, I am insulted by how they now treat their loyal customers. There seems to be no respect to the people that have supported the Tribe ALL these years. P.S. Taking the chicken fried steak off the menu, big mistake! (P.S. You really screwed up when you took the chicken fried steak off the menu! Stories' is awful too!)

We went on 2/6/18 and 40% of the casino gaming floor was under construction. They created new pull tab booth, put it in a area that has a bunch of construction going on around it and then don't even bother staffing it. What really makes this casino suck the most is their numbers they stick on the machines. 1,2 or 3. If you're not familiar with this system I give you a brief explanation. A '1' on the machine allegedly means that this machine will pay out more often but not as high of a payout. A '2' on the machine allegedly means that the payouts are higher but not as frequent as a 1. A machine with a '3' on it allegedly means that it doesn't pay out very often but when it does the payouts are higher. That was the nail in the coffin as far as I'm concerned. We DEFINITELY will not be making a return trip to any grand casino.

Shouldn't get even one star! They can't help a sick woman call home! Wouldn't let my mother use their phone or tell her where the payphone was! She was stuck there for 8 hrs before help arrived. No thanks to Hinckley grand casino! The one man working that tried to help was told by his supervisor that he couldn't do anything to help.... he was told by his boss that they keep people gambling.... not trying to help them get home. Will not be returning to this business!

My fiancé and I went to the grand casino Hinckley buffet for the Saturday night unlimited prime rib dinner extravaganza!! We gorged our faces with prime rib, chicken wild rice soup, Asian noodles and even cupcakes. I believe this may be the best buffet food in all of Minnesota. Even the ice cream buffet is next level, with multiple different flavors which include my favorite flavor, cherry bourbon. Even though we lost at the casino, we hit the jackpot with dinner.

Love the free rooms. No close shopping centers if that's your thing.(Tanger outlets are 50 min. Away) Great weekend get away. Good food at affordable prices. Great golfing in the summer at reasonable prices.
