Let me start off by saying after spending $275 on food and drinks I thought we would get better service. This was my wife's and I anniversary. I called ahead and told them that when I reserved our table. When we showed up they never even acknowledged it and our service was what I would call the bare minimum for that type of restaurant. I wasn't expecting astonishing service but something certainly better than that. Especially when I convened the special occasion ahead of time. Drinks and food were enjoyable, just the lack of service left bad taste coupled with the price which I have no problem spending. I just expected higher quality service with that price tag.

Downs: Servers were a little clumsy serving the food and pouring wine, they need more training. On top of that, our naan bread was completely burned underneath, they need to be more careful, since we expected a better quality based on the dedicated station that they have for just making bread. Ups: We order several dishes from the small plates section of the menu and they were cooked to perfection with right balance of flavors on everyone of them. We really enjoyed them. As a desert we order the Ice cream trio, that was beautifully presented and tasty.

DISAPPOINTED; Restaurant architecture/design and the way the dishes are presented gives them an A+. My compliments, however, to the menu writer.........not the chef. We ordered 5 appetizers to share sequentially. They all came at once.....server was an idiot. Would that Nobu could refine the kitchen for them and improve the service.

greeting, seating, eating all delightful. well chosen wine list. even the potstickers with foie gras were fun and really tasty. lobster and sweet corn ravioli was delicate and excellent. oysters pristine. dark and delicious red wine sauce accompanied fork tender short ribs. superb scallops. a modest and charming and wise sommellier. some good bargains. there is no need to even consider yellowtail, when bellagio possesses this little gem.
