Escalator Bar

I have always enjoyed Grand Sierra. It's a great place on the weekend for adults and a great place during the week day if you bring your kids. There is lots to do will; you do not have to go outside the casino. The ice skating ring, the new pool, and the new casino games kept us real busy. We will definitely return for another visit.

We went to a concert here and stayed the night. A mini staycation for us. The concert venue was amazing, small venue seats as couple of thousand people. Great sound, has several bars and waitresses serving drinks too. We were somehow upgraded to a really nice room on the 21st floor. Pretty views and a beautiful room. We felt so pampered! We gambled some after the show, but didn't win anything. The next day we went to the pool. They have two pools, one was for everyone and the other was for 21 and up. Both were big nice pools, but they were warm like bath water and very cloudy. There was a lot of garbage around the main pool area, wrappers, cups and paper trash. It was a really hot day so we looked for some shady place by the pool, there is none. We saw some umbrellas and asked about them. They were $30 for the day. We didn't plan on staying all day and since we already had paid a $26 fee with the room to use the pool, we thought this to be ridiculous. They definitely need some shaded areas for pool goers. They had cabanas and some seating shaded far away from pool side. They also had a splash pad for the kids. That was nice and the water was really cold it felt good to walk through that after swimming in the hot pool water. There were cocktail waitresses poolside and plenty if lounge chairs. Several lifeguards on duty too. All in all we were happy with our stay.

Great place for you and your family! Tons of stuff to do within the massive hotel/resort. There's even a 50 lane bowling alley! Can't recommend this place enough. All kinds of restaurants and bars at a lot of different price points. There's even a Johnny Rockets down stairs as well as a Round Table pizza. There's a giant pool as well as a driving range that you hit the balls into a man-made lake; super cool. In the lake are little islands with targets. One island has a car on it!! Plus, they have a movie theater where all movies are $4.00! Cool place.

The Grand Sierra Resort is a very good hotel and casino. The renovations couple years ago made it very elegant. I have everything you need in one building which makes it fun to have a weekend stay. They have a bowling alley, a movie theater, an awesome pool, Starbucks, and many delicious restaurants. The movie theaters great it's only a couple dollars this ticket. I would highly recommend checking it out!

Had a great experience at this hotel. Was in town for a graduation party and needed a place to stay. I arrived later in the evening and was initially told they did not have a room for me (really I paid in advance).. The gentleman quickly took care of it and upgraded me to a suite and made sure I had a nice room. He did not disappoint. The room was absolutely beautiful with great views and a huge jetted tub. I also had a night cap at the center bar and they were super friendly! I cannot comment on any additional amenities since I left the next morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was a good value for the money. Big and clean with a hot shower and awesome water pressure. Saw a show at the Grand Theatre. The theater itself felt brand new and the acoustics were fantastic. Drink lines moved quickly and the staff were all friendly. Didn't gamble, but the casino floor was lively and bright with new slots and plenty of table games.

We like this place. Floor plan is big; rooms are reasonable. Pool is above average. Buffet is reasonable and not too expensive. Lots of extra things to do here like bowl or see a movie. Gaming is gaming so as long as you keep that in mind simply enjoy yourself.

We went for a weekend and they are very accommodating. We arrived at the hotel 3 AM and were able to provide a room side by side with the other couple we vacationed with. The rooms are clean and we had the view of the pool, golf range, and airport. There was PLENTY to do besides gambling. The buffet had more than enough selection. The reserve wine bar was my favorite part! We are planning to go in a few weeks; pretty much a month from when we last visited.

Very nice hotel! Stayed only 1 night and got in late. They upgraded us free to a very nice suite for my exhausted wife and 15 month old daughter and I. The employees were very nice and happy to help. Room was big and clean and the king size bed was comfortable. Room service was tasty and quick. Wish we could've stayed longer to see more of the place but what we did see was great.

Room was beautiful. Fully carpeted, floor to wall stone bathroom, generous water in the shower, comfy beds, way check in. You're charged a $32 resort fee and a $50 deposit upon checking in. This made the fees more expensive than the room charge itself. Otherwise friendly staff, no problems checking in or out. Would stay again certainly.
