Lovely time at Ichiban. We always get seated next to nice people and have a great show watching our meal being cooked! Yummy fried rice and seafood!

The food is pretty good, however, the service is below par. If there is a kid at your table and it's not yours... don't expect to get any of the left overs... cuz we know kids eat all their food and would never waste those left overs. We also got place on the end that always gets served last... so expect to get shorted anyways. The cook didn't make enough appetizer shrimp so I didn't get mine and instead of acknowledging it ... he pulls shrimp from the dinner stock and makes extra, of course, and I don't even get those extras. It's like wait, you forgot mine, didn't apologize and then didn't make up for it .... come on man.

It was my daughter's birthday. The chef treated her like a queen. She has always love coming here and eating all my lobster. The dinner is always fun and the chefs are always entertaining. The staff is helpful and passionate about the job.

I love the food here but I will never come back. Outrageous prices and so many other great choices in the area make it hard to eat here but we did on our anniversary. First they gave me soup with hair in it, so while waiting for the next course and out if boredom, not wanting to watch everyone eat, I was looking around then turned on my flashlight to check my surroundings... which was a mistake. I was absolutely horrified by how nasty the whole restaurant is. There is grease dripping from the ceiling and walls! So... that was my appetizer, the rest of the meal was great, but I struggled to enjoy it, especially when the bill came.

Went here with a group of four for a friends birthday. Made a reservation and everything but spent over an hour waiting to get seated at the sushi bar. We had to watch many other people that came in after us get seated for sushi ahead of us. We kept getting told "15 more minutes" when we checked in. After almost an hour and a half we decided to go elsewhere so we can celebrate her birthday properly. Ichiban lost at least $120 worth of business or any future business of ours. Very unperfessional customer service.

The food was amazing! The mixed drinks were extremely weak. My white peach cooler tasted like orange juice without alcohol! I'm not a drinker and alcohol hits me fast....there was no alcohol. For $8.50 a drink, I would expect alcohol in the drink. The carribean cooler was the same. Same thing for the two drinks my boyfriend ordered.

Had an amazing dinner experience at Ichiban!! The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Most of all the food was amazing!! We had “The Shogun” everything was cooked to our specifications and tasted amazing! I really have to say that I have never been impressed by the flavor of fried rice during any of my teppanyaki experiences, however at Ichiban it is so flavorful!! Have to say I love it, my favorite meal for our entire stay in Reno!! Thank you Ichiban and staff..

we had a terrible chef, that wasn't exciting to watch, and could not cook to save his life. It was painful like watching an alcoholic dry up. He left in the middle of service, while 2 people had received their rice, the other 8 or so we're just put on hold. When he returned the rice was burned. He tried to make happy faces with the eggs they were just circles and a bunch of nonsense tried to make look like eyes. He missed the egg 3 times. When he would try to light things on fire he would break the matches. This place has passed its prime, used to be really nice. Save your money $350 for the Worst meal And experience ever.

It's always such a treat for the whole family to come here. Food is amazing, the chefs are fun and the show keeps everyone fed and entertained. I love that my kids can come here and be amazed and ask to come here. Great place for the whole family!

Not 5 star, but the best sushi I have found in all of Reno. Would give it 4 and a half if half stars were possible. If your use to west coast or Alaskan sushi bars this is the closest your gonna get outside of a expensive las vegas bar.
