The Pub at Monte Carlo

Food tasted good, but overpriced. We ate at not a busy time, the place was pretty much empty and it took forever to get our drinks and food. I Got the wedge salad which was $14.00 and was the smallest wedge salad ever. It was the size of a very small side salad. I was so hungry I ordered a bowl of the reuben soup after my salad was gone. The soup was the really good. But just not worth the wait or price.

The Pub at Monte Carlo

So I have mixed feelings about this place. The beer list is pretty good and if you hit it at happy hour you can get a good beer for 4-8 bucks. I'm talking a pretty good selection of craft beer. The food is pretty good as well. The pretzels are a must have. My gripe with this place is the service. The hostess didn't know they had a happy hour. The bar tenders are sullen and inattentive. Overall it's not bad for a quick beer and snack if you don't mind lackluster service.

In a lot of beers to choose from we had a good time enjoying a couple of different samplings of their Brews. Did take a little while to get a couple appetizers. Overall it's a nice place to hang for a little bit

We went here every morning for breakfast - great for egg dishes. Great selection with a very friendly staff open to modifications of dishes without any issues. Vegas definitely has the best wait staff in the industry!

The Pub at Monte Carlo

Deep bench of beers (macro- and micro-brews) including a dozen locals. Flights of 5 half-pints are available, with the second flight being offered at a lower price. The bone-in wings as an appetizer were phenomenal; get the sweet chili sauce. Pub reuben was passable, but the rye was over-buttered before going on the grill. Not enough to send it back, but the bread ended up being too done to my liking.
