Sassy Sue's Saloon

We went to Bumbleberry Flats for brunch. Which has always been enjoyable.. However, not this time, the hostess was so inexperienced! She could not organize a dining room to save her life. The manager was not "available" to complain. So, we wasted 30 minutes for a table, only to be told it was another 30 minutes. Ridiculous! Hope the new owner knows what he's getting into.

While the new owners set up shop, the only thing the main area is good for is the restaurant Bumbleberry Flats. I love eating there but it's a bit pricey. They have taps in some of the booths which is a neat idea. Third food is delicious too. Definitely a great choice but you might want to save it for date night.

This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at to date. The ice machine did not work and when you would mention it to staff they would be just dismissive stating that everyone was filling up their ice chest. I had a four day booking and never got even a single cube of ice. Their elevators did not work and had to carry ice that I had to go out and buy up two floors at my age was real fun in a 110 degree heat. The sink and tub did not drain but on the plus side the sink had no drain stop so I didn't need it since it wouldn't drain anyway. Ended up leaving early because they were doing the roof and had a tar pot right below my room that the air conditioning would draw in the room it was so bad thought there was a fire the first night. There were other things as well but I think you get the idea. There were other things but don't want to go on and on about it. I have one last thing to say NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!

Just to start off the casino part is closed due to renovation from the new owners trying to bring their place up to better standards and to fix all kinds of broken needs. It is in need of some repair for some time. Service was good but the amenities for the rooms was not there. Plus the rooms have fallen into disrepair with the walls having dents and poor paint job. Floor in bathroom was stained and flashing was torn. No hairdryer or ironing board was available . The tub was also stained from not being cleaned by staff. Curtains don't close all the way. Mattress for the beds were either too low, which they seem to be, or the bedding was too big. To sum it up they need a lot of fixing to go.

I love this old fashion style hotel and casino on the water !! Feels like old west gambling hall. Food comps for time played at table r FANTASTIC !! I didn't pay for one meal for 3 days. Restaurant is called BUMBLEBERRYS and is amazing comfort food ! Only problem is I hear things are changing with a new owner and there wasn't much info. So guess we will see. TO BE CONTINUED 😁

The casino floor was closed, so it was the quietest casino I've ever been in, but we didn't go for the gambling, we went to bumbleberry flats on a recommendation from a friend. Food was good, and the view of the river was nice. Found out the casino was closed due to a change in ownership.

This is a decent casino. The drinks are a little pricey but made well and the bartenders are nice. The rooms are fairly comfortable and clean and we got a good deal for the weekend. They need better slot techs, there are too many games offline on the floor.

The pioneer has never given up a decent slot payout (to me) and yes, always bet max; gotta bet big, to lose big. comps suck, vs its competition, BUT! if you go in with low expectations, they won't disappoint. the staff is awesome n friendly; good humored. the hotel is one of the few around (like the days inn), who don't care how fat your dog is, or whether you have 2. at least one of the ice machines worked (tend to run out in summers) and the close pizza place delivers. they're totally cheap and you get what you pay for. having stayed at all but that no name hotel on the strip, if you're only going to pony up for the basic room... they're all the same, except price. so yeah, i give em 5 stars. don't expect room service at a motel 6 & they won't disappoint. you can have all the extra pillows (etc.) you need.
