Canal Street Bread and Sandwich Co.

We visited the showboat casino after walking up the boardwalk. When we first walked in, we saw a huge open space with neon lights everywhere. But there wasn't much else. No games, machines, and a little roped off area with a little bar, a few tables and chairs and a pool table. We spent about a half hour here before going back to our hotel. Overall, I'm sure there are other more populated areas in the casino that we just didn't come across in our short time there, so just don't be surprised if the same thing happens to you

My boyfriend and I went down for memorial day weekend and stayed in a junior suite. The room was amazing. So clean and everything was beautiful. The best part was the jacuzzi tub, it was so relaxing. The view from the 25th floor was breath taking. All in all we always enjoy our stay at showboat!

I stayed here for my birthday weekend. The people were pleasant & friendly. There was an event they were hosting. The outlets in the room were a bit wonky & should be checked into. As nice & pretty as the room is the pillows were not that comfortable. The front desk clerk was nice but she seemed confused when I asked her about the self parking and directed me to speak to a valet. Which I did & he he guided us from there. Other than that I had a nice time. 😁🤘

The trip was a disaster. There was absolutely nothing going on at the hotel. The hotel is isolated from all the event going on nearby. The room was clean and comfortable though. But still there was absolutely nothing to for the four days I spent here.

I booked this room before I remember Showboat wasn't a casino anymore. The room had a dirty smell. At least one of the chairs had definitely been peed on in its life. I saw a booger on the window sill. They didn't provide me with a bar of soap, so I had to wash my hands with shower gel. The hotel has a few restaurants listed, but I don't know where they keep them, half of it is abandoned. There was one open, a burger place that looked like they had trouble handling the few tables they had occupied, no one greeted me or offered to sit me, so I left. Food didn't look that good. Overall, I wish I would have just stayed at a motel closer to a real casino. It would have been less of a let-down. Showboat is a waste of your money.
