The new Hard Rock in Atlantic City is great! There are plenty of restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment. Besides shows and concerts, the lobby bar lounge and hard rock cafe also have live music. The entire place is stunningly beautiful and there's great pieces of memorabilia all around. The location is great if you have kids, as the steel pier is right across the boardwalk.

Stayed there to enjoy a morning at the pool. No where on their site did it say the pool was not yet opened. So disappointed. They said they were sorry. Parking garage is a trip. They have garages on different sides of the casino and get this they are colored coded the same. So good luck with that. Nice room.

I have a Rock Royalty Wild Card which I received on opening day. That came with 2 tickets to see Howie Mandel. I love Howie Mandel and was very excited to go see his show. I received notification via e-mail for the showing yesterday for the showing of 7/2 and 7/3/18. I went on vacation yesterday out of State, so I cannot go to the shows this week, or in one or two days assigned. So, I called the Casino and spoke to a girl there. She was not helpful, non caring about my situation stated those were the days assigned and she could not change them. I explained that I really wanted to see the show, if he was going to have more shows later on could they give me a different day. She was very stern in stating no, no, no, to everything. I thought that as a Rock Royalty I would have a better service from the Casino, but I guess that was not the case and for now I will stay going to the Golden Nugget which I am a Chairman Card holder and they treat me with respect and are more loyal and flexible with their guests like me. If your service doesn't improve for your other guests holding Rock Royalty cards and above your stay open in AC might go under do to poor service. I have seen many here close for the same reason, poor guest service, if we don't go, you will have to go.

I have been going to Carrie Underwoods concerts since she won American Idol. I was so upset with this crowd. The people in the first row, right in front of us, were talking LOUDLY during her performance, at one point 4 of them stood and had a loud debate about something. The group right behind us was pretty much doing the same thing. This was a big distraction. It was also disrespectful to Carrie. Too much distraction. I was tempted to say something but afraid I would get assaulted by one of them. They acted like they were at some sports event. Why would someone buy first row seats and act like that. I have never experienced that at any of her other concerts. Security was close by but never said a word. We were in the second row right in front of the stage. Best seats I ever had. Her performance was outstanding. She never disappoints. She sang her heart out. She just gets better and better. Carrie had to deal with her costumes missing but it didn't affect her performance. She had to find an outfit in AC to wear on stage. My heart went out to her. She's the best. I can't wait for her next concert. I doubt I will ever see another show at Hard Rock.

Terrific renovation! Absolutely First Class Casino with helpful staff. I'm glad Trump's Dump is gone. The Hard Rock really got it right- from the modern architecture to the latest in high tech video walls. The casino is packed with the latest slots and the tables are fully staffed. The self park garage is now using the full structure so there are many more spaces. The walkway link to the Showboat has been reopened. A bit more finishing and everything will be open! This review June 2018.

(Review is for the Previous Taj Mahal Hotel) Rooms are fine except for the room Windows which are filthy on the outside. The hotel is in need of maintenance. Ice machine on level 39 is broken and seems to have been broken for a while now. Elevators are dirty. Employees are very nice. Location is excellent for family's looking to visit the steel pier

What’s going on with all of the 5 star reviews in recent months, often conflicting with each other (some saying they had a great time there, what other saying it isn’t even open yet as Hard Rock)? Guess people are getting paid one way or another to pump up the $h!t hole that was the former Trump Taj Mahal?

UPDATED MAY 2018: This former Atlantic City icon, the Trump Taj Mahal, has been massively/completely renovated, especially the decor: Indian elephants have been replaced by giant guitars. On June 28, 2018, a casino of 2400 slot machines and 130 table games is expected to open, along with a hotel of approximately 2000 rooms, several restaurants, retail shops, other hotel amenities including a full-service spa (which they will call a "Rock Spa" 😂🎸 ), two arena-type entertainment venues (seating appropriately 7000), and of course a 400 seat Hard Rock Cafe. My current 5 star rating here is based solely on the sheer excitement I'm seeing in this city where I've worked for almost 30 years (I'm happily employed at one of the Caesars properties and we're ready for the competition 😂). ANOTHER huge casino resort here in A.C. is also putting on their final touches, and has amazingly set an opening date for the very same day as Hard Rock: the Ocean Resort Casino (in the building of the Revel property which opened and closed in the early part of this decade. This summer should be an interesting time as Atlantic City makes its apparent comeback.
