A classy winebar in a classy steakhouse in a racehorse–casino... ? It works. Everyone is welcome, and staff are kind, knowledgeable and professional. The food is well-prepared and the chefs are adamant about serving beautiful preparations made from fresh, quality ingredients. The wine bar area is tucked away from the larger restaurant, and the full food menu is available too. The winelist itself (on iPad) has bottles ranging from affordable options from Argentina and California, to mega-bucks cult California cabs. And some fun things, like from Bulgaria and France. Go for happy hour !

Service (Nathaniel) is excellent food is very good but expect to pay a premium for your meal. Try the grilled asparagus, you'll be glad you did.

Ordered the sliders for Take Out. The meat was not the same as when we sit in the establishment and eat. Pricey for what we got.

I am so very delighted by countless splendid memories of dining at the Final Cut. We make the beautiful drive from Potomac to Charles Town, via the back roads, 10 or 12 times per year.... and arrive always in the mood for a feast, ... an escape with a sense of celebration. The final cut doesn't disappoint. We almost always are served by the excellent waiter, George, whose thoughtful recommendations and timing of the course pacing, still permit for a genuine and tender moment or two, throughout the meal, to reminisce and share some good or bad news with an attentive and caring top-notch human being. The food is really remarkable. We have made the Final Cut our go-to destination to entertain our dearest friends and top clients, who also rave about the steaks, the scrumptious grilled vegetables, (the asparagus is worth the trip, it's THAT good) and the lobster is a flavor-fest with a "Wow" factor. Dinner for two, or for twenty-two, ...nothing throws George! Hristina, the very, very professional manager, her reception staff, and the friendly servers fill the glamorous dinning room setting with a buzz and rhythm that makes for a "Classic Hollywood Nightclub" dream come true, anchored by a kitchen that offers skilled preparations of world class discernment. From the first taste of Brioche, to the Table-pressed Coffee finale, the senses are satisfyingly seduced. Delicious, delightful, and always an occasion to remember; The Final Cut is well, well, worth the trip. Cheers! (....and go in, Hungry!) We have dined here several times and it seems the last couple times the food is getting worse .....we last dined on 12/30/16 and the steaks were below par ...they didnt look right and we under cooked and tough. ..when we returned home my wife got an obvious case of food poisoning and was sick for the rest of the night ...we were never asked if we needed more bread ..it was just removed and and we felt hurried to leave....wee used to love this restaurant but 157.00 for 2 steak dinners when we were served steak that was blackened like salmon is ridiculous. ...I will give them one more chance but that's it....unfortunately I recommended this restaurant to so many people
