Good food and good service but I feel that it is a bit overpriced.

I had the Tips in Tequila Cream Sauce. Hubby had the Fish and Chips. Delicious! Loved Lefty Lager and Golden Lager. Don't miss this restaurant when you're in the area.

Always a great choice of dishes. Loved the Scottish Ale. The baked brussel sprouts were a solid start to the meal.

The Eating House

The food tastes good but in the dozen times or so that I've eaten there in recent years, the food comes to the table room temperature or lukewarm, which is not what one expects of such a fine restaurant. They do not seem to have learned the art of heating the plates and keeping things hot until it's all ready to serve. Mashed potatoes that are not hot are not particularly appetizing, and so on with other dishes. Also, the prices have climbed to a higher point than seems justified by the quantity or quality.

Always a great experience. One of Lander's best restaurants. Cow-Fish serves a variety of food options including Cow and Fish but also many other tasty dishes. Their prik shank mole is fantastic. Great burgers too. Oh, and having an on-premis brewery never hurts. Great bar drinks are offered. Sit in the dining room, bar or on the patio. Event space for larger parties is also available. A bit on the higher priced side but worth it. Friendly staff rounds out the experience.

My Favorite Place. Eating brunch today.... Smokehouse Eggs Benedict. So yummy. Husband ordered fish tacos and the fish was super crispy and mild. The eggs Benedict were perfect....the parm polenta too. Can't go wrong here.

The Eating House

Had the mushroom appetizer and beef tip pasta entree. Both were excellently balanced in flavour. Wait staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Portions were generous. Took home half my pasta but still had to pack away some of the exceptional chocolate mousse.

The Eating House

We had dinner here after a long day of mountain and desert driving. Started off with a very respectable ipa brewed on site. My wife had a steak salad and I had the pan-fried trout. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. They mainly use local ingredients, which we appreciate. Cool decor, quiet enough that we could readily converse. Both locals and tourists eating here, a good sign. Meagan our waitress was the best. Go!
