Balashi Bar

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I needed an iPhone charger after several phone calls and finally talking in person they delivered one into my room. However; there was constant noise due to some construction so the vacation became an intolerable misery in the mornings specially after 8:00 AM. Guess what it is wake up time, sucks. It was really torture. Also there is no towel on the beach guess what that’s not their problem/mistake because it is delivered by third party, damn I wish I knew that before so I would have brought my own towels. On their credit though they promised to bring to me once they received any and they kept their promise.. Clean and well maintained, typical Hyatt Regency...

We were told that the rooms were newly renovated and that was not the case. In fact they were just starting the construction. We spent the 1st 3 days listening to Jack hammers. Made it difficult to relax. We also noticed (on the 3rd day) they were adding 15% gratuity so we tipped 35% not realizing. Guess we are a little too trusting. After having over tipped we still did not get the warm and friendly service we had received traveling to other islands. They honestly couldn't be bothered. Aruba and the Hyatt did not impress us at all. It's over priced and unfriendly.

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Aruba. It is in a great location, close to many restaurants and local shops. The beach outside the resort is not crowded at all and the water is amazing. Their palapas are first come first serve so it is a little tricky to get the ones really close to the water. However, there are vendors right there and you can get an umbrella right up to the water. The rooms a little small for the price but they are clean and have great view. The staff is very accommodating and amazing and they keep the hotel very clean. Their amenities and central garden amazingly looking and that on its own is a plus which includes few different swimming pools and a slide. They have few great restaurants, which are a little over prices but expected at a hotel. I would suggest walking down the street and try some of the local restaurants. Over all we really enjoyed this resort and we were coming back to Aruba, we'd stay here again.

First, we have a courtyard view room when we asked for an ocean/island view room. Second, the room is very dusty! The bathroom towel rack fixtures are dusty and the sink has mold. The top of pictures, the tv and the bed headboard is dusty. The curtains are dusty and the screen-like inner curtain has a huge whole in it. This not worth what we’re being charged!!! The other thing is that I although I appreciate the thought and that I may like a surprise piece of birthday cake, but, not at the expense of having someone come into our room while we’re not in it, leave the plate, and, the plate wasn’t covered. VERY DISSATISFIED 😐😒😡🤨🤔👎

Thanks Grace Ann for your kindness and sincerity. You make the world a better place. We were not happy with the noises above our room but we were happy with you. Sincerely, Tina

A really nice place. Has 2 pools. Nice beach. .food is good. Rooms are clean and modern. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Make sure you follow directions on getting a umbrella / shaded table. It gets hot without it.

Great hotel, service, and food. I would suggest staying on the top floor. You have beautiful views from both sides of the hotel. You have a private kitchen and dining for breakfast, snacks all day, non alcoholic beverages free for staying on this floor. Well worth the money!!
