I give it the 5 stars because it is a great deal. You get breakfast, lunch, two beverages with lunch (beer, soda) and fun golf ($33). I played Moorland last week and the course is in good shape but the greens are going to be replaced because of winter kill. I played Parkland today and it was in great shape. I'll be playing Heathland in two weeks and post an update then.

Loved it. Go see for yourself. Played three of their courses over three days. Played with my cousins(2). The fourth they added one day was cool and enhanced our experience.

Took forever to play. First Round took 6 hours to play 14 holes!!!! We left after 14. We've been visiting Myrtle Beach for 10 years and this is 3rd time we tried playing moorland and parkland - it cheap but really not worth it. And this is it never again we will not be going back to these courses, they over-book - the entire resort is way too crowded. Also we were told that you can play these courses in July and Aug for $25. just look for coupons in the paper definitely not worth nay more then $25. a round.

Where to start. Come here with zero expectation and you'll still be disappointed. Quality Cheap asses no ball washers, club washers.Actually can't even afford garbage cans every hole. Carts are in disrepair. Green are all dead and garbage. Most fairways are too. Run sprinklers mid day so you have to play through them Staff Super pushy constantly tell you to keep pace and push you to hit into people to keep "their" pace. Pretty much all staff is rude. Disorganized from start to finish. Use paper instead of the computer in front of them. In summary they can't run a golf course

This resort is good if you like to party - a lot of drinking with a lot of people who may have a problem or should go back to college. The bad food isn't worth eating - we felt sick after and it was very hard to play golf on courses where no one was moving and 6 1/2 hours later finally finishing we felt worse. This place is about drinking more because of backups or you just like to drink a lot. Even though they say it is FREE you better off paying for your food. We like to play golf not party like crazy.

We played Moorland at Legends and the course is really quite beautiful and challenging, so I could see how it has the potential to be quite lovely, but on a recent trip to Myrtle Beach to play golf this month (May2018), two different golf courses, The Legends (Moorland) and Carolina National, failed to inform us until we were ready to tee off that their greens had been largely destroyed over the winter. On most greens, we were putting on sand or dirt, or on greens pocked with dead areas. I don’t thing we saw a decent green on either course. I can’t believe the courses didn’t re-sod their greens for peak season and more importantly, I thought it was dishonest to charge out-of-state visitors peak season rates for courses in such poor condition. It was also dishonest letting us book these courses and not informing us of the terrible green conditions until we were ready to tee off. I travelled over 1300 miles from Nebraska to play here. I understand why golf courses are reluctant to tell golfers when their course is in bad shape because people might cancel, or go elsewhere. As it is though, such dishonesty from these two major courses in the Myrtle Beach area will likely lead us to choose different golf destinations in the future. It may be a long time before we return to Myrtle Beach for golf.

It was a good deal for the price we paid. Good accommodations but a little dated. The breakfast could have used a bit of variety. The biggest disappointment were the greens on Heartland, Moorland and Parkland. Moorland was almost un-puttable. The starters and staff were the redeeming quality of the place. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Heritage was definitely the best course followed by Heathland and Parkland. I can see this location being a great guys trip.

Very nice course. Plays very fair, staff was friendly and helpful. Only suggestion would be to have ball wash stations on every tee box with garbage cans. Don’t think I saw any on the Heathland course.

The Legends Golf courses where great. There was some confusion about our club rentals, but the guy behind the clubhouse desk knew everything we would need walking in with nothing and even hooked us up with 4 free drinks and 2 meals!! Will definitely be going back given the opportunity.
