Club House Terrace

Lots of parking space, might need to walk for a while to the gate. Love the energy there!! People are crazy about this sport.. or maybe because there is $$ involved! :) It is always fun to see any sports LIVE!

Nice race track. I got to see Justify, Bob Baffert ,and Mike Smith here. The trumpeter for the call to the post took pictures with us and was very nice. Great place for family and friends to spend the day. The infield has amusement park type rides, face painting and other events. The weekend I was there we saw a car show.

Club House Terrace

Beautiful place, not vibrant like the old days. Can't ask for more. Free parking , free entry. My first visit there, only stayed for a couple hours showing visitors from China. I guess I'll have to go back during the Santa Anita Derby with a big crowd. It just didn't have the thrill like watching the Kentucky Derby !!

Club House Terrace

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would. My friends and I always have the best time here even if we lose money. One of my favorite places on earth. Very classy and elegant yet reasonable prices. I could go on for days on how much I love Santa Anita Race Track.

Club House Terrace

Love it there! It's like a walk back in time. Especially the restrooms, club house area, are beautiful! Just did the infield for Father's day and that was just as fun, more lax. You can bring in ice chests, your own food and picnic. Great place even if you don't like to gamble on the ponies.🐎

Club House Terrace

This is one of my most cherished places to visit. I love the atmosphere, the view of the mountains and, of course, the racing. Sign up for the free Thoroughbred Club and you'll get passes and discounts in the mail. **Parking is always free if you park on the infield side (North Side off Huntington) ** And entrance to the infield is always free too.

Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for the box seats upstairs. The downstairs and the upstairs environment is like night and day. The upstairs environment has a great view with television sets, the cafeteria is close by and often has small lines, you can conveniently place bets at the kiosks, there is usually a kiosk available without any need to wait in line, easily cash out winning tickets nearby, there are clean and wided spaced bathrooms and you can easily grab an alcoholic drink at the cafeteria. Basically, it's all close by, next to each other, without having to wait in long lines. It's also clean and elegant. Walk into the downstairs area and you will feel like you walked into a post apocalyptic scenario. You will feel like you are either about to get mugged or someone will come up to you to beg for money. You really feel the dread and angst of the addicted gamblers along with their crushed dreams, major loses and huge debts. You will feel subhuman and weary of other people. If you walk into the bathroom you will find it so dirty that you won't be sure if you are standing in a stall or in the general bathroom area. Avoid the downstairs bathroom at all costs. The only good thing downstairs is that there is a tent where you can learn how to bet. Also, there is a jungle gym for kids further down the area if you manage to survive the travel downstairs. The upper level truly gets 5 stars. You will have a great time, a very fun experience for all ages, you will experience all the magic you often see portrayed in films and television shows.

The grounds are beautiful and horse races are always exciting. I recommend the Turf Terrace. My mom and I watched the races while the waiters brought us food and beverages for the five hours we were there. Never had to leave our seats except to use the restroom. (There is only so much the attentive staff will do)

Hands down the best horse racetrack on the west coast... Classy all around. Besides horse betting they got other things going down depending on date, event or situation. We loved the infield if you want to picknick. They let you bring in food/drinks and both your chairs and umbrella. They usually got kid's activities too.
