Got the balcony suite. Room is clean and everything looks well. View from the balcony isn't great as there is another building in the way. Also the toilet in the bathroom runs for 10 minutes after you flush it. Other than that very good service. Very helpful staff.

Good casino with decent clubs. Been there during the week and weekend. The weekend has a lot more smoke, so if you're sensitive to that be aware that it's more prevalent than during the week. But other than that, it's our go to club. The music history is cool and the gambling is fun. Service is pretty quick even on a busy summer weekend. Looking forward to the next visit!

My far this was my favorite Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. The rooms are recently remodeled, comfortable, clean, and spacious. The room really was over and Beyond what I expected. I do think that the hotel was a little overpriced, but I would stay there again if I found a good deal. The other minor complaint I have is that this is not Las Vegas and there should not be a $44 resort fee particularly when I feel like I am just staying at a nice hotel and not a resort. I ate at the Alpine Union several times and would recommend it as reasonably priced and a decent meal. The slot selection is good and the crowds are not as bad as some of the other hotels. The smoke ventilation is decent and the drink service was also decent. Overall if I do come back to South Lake Tahoe I would stay here again.

I was staying at Harvey's but enjoyed my time at Hard Rock so much more. The food at Alpine Union was great and the staff was friendly at the casino. Also, I enjoyed the slots much more at Hard Rock than at all of the other casinos I played at. The casino is small but fun and that's what matters to me. If I visit Lake Tahoe again I hope to stay at Hard Rock instead of the the total rewards properties.

NO JACUZZI!!!!!! Supposed to stay Saturday night, but such a bad experience we chose to leave. We booked a suite and showed up early, they said we could do an early check in as long as the room was ready. They said they moved us to a different suite that was ready but waiting in inspection. So I was thinking 45 mins to an hour tops. After an hour and a half I checked for an update and I was told they are making the bed now and it should be ready soon. This contradicts what I was told one hour and a half ago. After two hours of sitting in the lobby and watching customer after customer get checked in early we sat and waited. We got a grumpy lady call and tell us the room was ready and when we went to the suite it was nothing like we had booked online. We were supposed to get a jacuzzi and the room had no jacuzzi. I feel we were intentionally placed into a room that was sub par. For 350 bucks for one night I expected more. Shower looked like a gym shower, after 3 hours in the room we chose to just leave. We were on the first floor with people just hanging out right outside our room windows. Never again!!! For the price I feel they ripped us off!

It has a nice face lift. Fairly easy to get a drink from a cocktail waitress if gamble. I would say it comes in second as far as it being a good locals spot

The hotel met my every expectation. If you book it for $200/night, you may be disappointed, but for $70 all in, absolutely great. Pretty much Holiday Inn quality.Just being able to make a ski trip that much more affordable is appreciated, but this hotel has everything you'd want. It doesn't have a hot tub ($70), coffee maker ($70) or fridge ($70) but it DOES have a casino. While you could complain that higher priced alternatives feature more perks (go pay the higher price, then) it was so so cool being able to pop downstairs for apres ski blackjack, and the location is better than I thought before visiting. Really easy to get around the gondola area from here. Awesome stay!

Love staying here when in Lake Tahoe. Clean rooms, great ambiance and service. Shout out to Anna at the front desk for being especially helpful. Oh and they are dog and yogi friendly (the rent yoga mats at the desk!)

Worst experience ever!! From the check in to their 800 number where they know nothing. We had know hot water which made us late for a wedding on Saturday and again on Sunday. I asked for a blow dryer because the one we had blew cold air. Never did see that, when I called down to the front desk they acted like we were bugging them for any requests. We froze all night due to their heating being regulated. Then they changed me $10 off my deposit but couldn't give me a reason why. We didn't drink any of their $6.00 waters or anything. Then they charged me then recharged me. When I called all the girl could say was you have to wait for your bank statement to see what happened and hung up. DONT STAY THERE TERRIBLE SERVICE ALL AROUND!!!
