B&B Ristorante

We stopped into this posh restaurant for a few whiskies and small plates while people watching from the best patio table. The service was amazing as our waiter delivered outstanding whisky drinks and the best calamari I have ever had bar none. The other small plate was very good with the chickpeas perfectly cooked. Unfortunately I couldn't remember what the name was. Did I say that the Calamari was incredible??? We visited in early March 2018 and visited the B&B on a Friday night at around 9PM and stayed until they kicked us out. The clientele were well dressed and looked to be a mix of convention goers and business types. The only thing missing would be some live music and longer business hours to keep enjoying the service. Well done!

B&B Ristorante

Disastrous. We received our appetizer right away and ended waiting 30 minutes after we were done to receive our rock hard lobster pasta. How can a pasta restaurant get pasta absolutely wrong. Then the waitress try to wing and say they cook it to give the "full" pasta flavor........ No. Incorrect. Pasta is supposed to be thoroughly cooked. An almost 40 dollar pasta plate is supposed to be better than that. Nightmare.

The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is that my lobster in the lobster pasta was chewy. Everything else in the meal was outstanding! We had the fried calamari and salad to start both amazing. Has gluten free pasta with my lobster meal, which was excellent I would never know it’s gluten free. My only complaint, and it was supposed to be the star of the show was the lobster. Every single piece I ate was chewy. I would try the restaurant again because the service was perfect and the ambience is very nice. Pricey but would recommend.

The Good: Service was really good. 5-stars The Decent: The wasn't outrageously priced at roughly $20 per dish for the non-steak items. The food was okay for the price but I hoped for something a bit more refined or memorable. Its good but you don't leave dying to go back if that makes sense. The value proposition is a 3.5 star rating, which is decent but not memorable. The Bad: Not an "Italian" atmosphere. Hard to get into the mood when Billy Idol, Men Without Hats and other 80's icons are playing as background music. It was like the soundtrack from the local bar got mixed up. Would have preferred some kind of Italian music in the background. Not a huge issue but I couldn't help noticing it.
