Went here for the moonlight tour on a date. Absolutely beautiful. Arrived right before the sun set and enjoyed cocktails. I honestly didn't do the actual tour but walked the grounds and enjoyed the view and beauty of the grounds. Thumbs up

Every time visitors were in town I always suggest Vizcaya. It is an inexpensive activity that can be as quick or long as you’d like. The home has extravagant decor and history. The picturesque exterior reminded me of Florence and Venice. The only time I ever had to wait on a line was right at peak Christmas tourism. The Stairs and uneven ground in the gardens may be tough for kids & some adults. Enjoy! PS- it’s too instagram worthy to resist so charge your phone!

Step out of Miami and step into Europe without a Passport. Amazingly beautiful European style coral mansion turned into a museum. I actually wanted to get married there many years ago. The gardens are breathtaking. A perfect place to spend the day. Walk around the house, gardens and end your visit with a cup of coffee at their cute cafè

My favorite place in Miami. Great gardens on the water with incredible views and a historic mansion which gives you a real sense of how people with money lived long ago. The colorful lizards sun basking on heads of old, worn statues was a cool site. Plan to spend hours here taking it all in. Personal photography was allowed outside, but not inside the mansion. Who is going to see you snap a shot of that spiral staircase, though? Nice gift shop, too.

Vizcaya museum and gardens is one of my favorite places to visit in Miami. The house has such a rich history. You can do self-guided tour‘s, guided tours, or audio tours. Any of these kinds of tours are a great way to visit the house. We chose to do a self-guided tour so we could take our time and read the guides that were at each room. We enjoyed having the time to look at all of the furniture and details that were included when the house was built. The gardens outside are absolutely amazing, make sure you take the time to explore the gardens find the hidden garden, do the hedge maze, and find the area in the back where the gondolas could pull up. The gardens are a great place to get family photos and get amazing views of Biscayne Bay. I would highly recommend taking the time to explore Vizcaya give yourself a couple hours.

This is a beautiful historic mansion and gardens that doesn't disappoint. Interesting history, gorgeous views, amazing gardens. My imagination went wild, as I moved from room to room and thought of how it must've looked and sounded like in it's prime. This place is a great addition to your itinerary of things to do in Miami. Everything about it is fabulous, and over the top.

The villa was totally worth visiting. It's beautiful and full of history. The gardens are nice but definitely need more care. 2 hours is good to visit the house and the garden. The house has A/C. Staff if friendly. There is a parking lot at the Villa's entrance.

This was my first time here. My friend picked it out to come as our excursion and I'm glad we did. I love royal houses and antiquated aspects of past living. The house was beautiful. The the backyard was my favorite part. They had four weddings going on which was fine. Everyone still had enough room to walk around and sight see without interfering. I looked online to see how much it would be to have a wedding here and it wasn't bad. That's a goal and reason of mine to come back

Vizcaya is a wonderful museum in Miami! The museum is the old estate of James Deering, and has beautiful architecture and rooms. I enjoyed the "guide book" that you can purchase for $3.00. It gives you a simple but sufficient explanation of the rooms and their use. The gardens are beautiful! There are unique tropical plants, lizards, and crabs in the surrounding area. This is a must-see in Miami for all visitors.

We decided to give this place a try as a time filler between our arriving cruise ship and our flight home from Miami airport. It turned it to be a great choice. The girls and grades are fabulous and the house/museum are very interesting to walk through. If it hasn't been so hot and humid we likely would have stayed even longer. But it was great way to spend a few hours pleasantly.
