Food was not what I expected. Place look run down and was secluded. The one on Queens, New York is 95percent better. So disappointed since I took my Jamaican friend to show off Guyanese Chinese food and was a not impressed. These reviews are misleading and overrated

New to this area and looking for a place to eat. Im so happy we found this spot. Started with some fried wings. They were the best I've had on a long time! Then the dishes came out. Huge portions and everything was delicious!!

Used to come here often for years, lots of tasty dishes to choose from like chicken in de ruff, buffalo wings, fried chicken, pork fried rice, calamari, roast beef, etc.....It's all good. Loses a star due to a limited bar (try asking for a premium cocktail other than a long island and they're always missing that one ingredient or they don't know how to make it) and bartenders need training on their mixology skills the drinks are never consistent. You would have figure some type of renovation/improvement being done after being around for so many years but I guess the owner keeps all the money to herself. 2.5/5 for the cleanliness. Maybe one day you'll offer doubles and aloo pie........

Unfortunately South Florida is not the place for good west indian food. Hibiscus is no exception. The Pepper Shrimp (Fried) batter was rubbery and chewy, it looks like it was days old. The Chicken Fried Rice was not very good. The chicken was dry and over cooked, the rice was plain with frozen carrots and green peas, very little effort went into making this dish. Service was slow, food took forever to come out and it was cold. Decor was old and cheesy looking, too much pink. The blacked out windows makes you feel like you are in a bad part of town.

No security and that possess a problem.The staff does not know to desclate situations and the food is kinda good.

Guyanese style Chinese food and other dishes. The food here is very tasty and I make the 30min drive, because it's worth it. There's a dine in restaurant and on the next side, there is a fully stocked bar, with a pool table. So whatever you're feeling for, you can get it here. You can call and order in advance or go there and dine in. Either way, the food is great and so is the atmosphere.

The food has a very strong scent that is rather discomforting and could make someone sick EDIT: Don't ever buy fish from this place. It's dry and stinks

Had a very enjoyable dinner. The staff was very pleasant, the place was clean and the food was very tasty. Would recommend to all my family and friends.

The food is authentically prepared. The Ambiance in the place is wonderful. It's a cozy spot for the grown and sexy to escape for some good food, reasonably priced drinks, and good music.

I have every intentions of eating at Hibiscus when I visit the Ft. Lauderdale area. The food is fresh, exquisite and very tasty. The prices are reasonable. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly. On my first visit, I saw "Char Siu Kai Fan" on the menu and freaked out. I am 40 years away from T&T, which was the the last time I had this dish. I could not believe the size of the dish. It looked, smelled and tasted exactly how I remembered it. My compliments to the Chef. Every thing that we ordered was first class. Hibiscus is the best!
