Drinks are sensational, but the food is trash. My boyfriend and I ordered the "loaded" chips and the baked mac-n-cheese and were so disappointed. The food arrived to us cold (yes, cold), and there was absolutely nothing "baked" about it. It was a stovetop edition that seemed microwaved when it was given back to me in the appropriate temperature; bae didn't ask for his to be reheated. The restaurant looks nice; beautiful menu and all; but they overcompensate with those things to make up for the fact that the food is anticlimactic.

It was 12:45am when we got there the bartender was on point with the drinks and the food was great i couldn't believe it was that good so late. We had a blast.

Excellent customer service. Food came out almost immediately after I was the last in my group to order. My glass of water was always filled, literally. The drink was incredibly made, I literally let it sit with ICE to see if the alcohol content would fade away through time, didn't happen, still nice and strong. Food was good but not great, but remember the reason "why I say good not great" is because I'm a cook. I feel like what I ordered was something that I could of made at home, and it wasn't cooked in any special manner;However, like I said, it was good enough for me. There were only a few things about this place that I didn't like at all, maybe 3; 1) Drink pricing AFTER happy hour, 2) dirty bathroom, and 3) What's up with your dessert prices? Like I totally understand you're giving us-the customer-a whole slab of chocolate cake but what if we only want something small, but filling, and ugh, less pricey? Besides all that, I still had a wonderful time with my friends, I think I may have been the most picky out of the 10 but I rate this visit a 4/5 stars, I feel like they-the restaurant-could do way better.

I was really looking forward to lunch there today after shopping. I have eaten there several times with my family. Sat at the bar and after about 3 minutes bartender came over. I ordered lunch immediately and a soft drink from her. It was 11:30. I asked her 2x over the next 45 minutes why bigger parties entered at least 20 minutes after me yet they were eating. Both times she called from the other end of bar that my lunch was coming soon. I seriously doubt she had turned the ticket in as she was very involved in a phone call. Finally I motioned to her I was leaving and dropped money on the bar for my soft drink. Her response? She said she didn't blame me, completely unconcerned. A disappointing experience.

I love coming to Bar louie in Midtown Miami. All of the food and drink specials are amazing and tips are well deserved. The entire staff including Jimmy, Emilio, Q and Mark are awesome and diligent. I love coming here for everything from burgers to tuna poke. Come enjoy a nice afternoon, I promise your won't be disappointed! 🐙
