I love Cuban food and this place satisfies my craving for it every single time. The food is not like Miami, but pretty darn close. The portions are huge and prices low. They could be a little bit more organized, but overall a great value.

Delicious food and very good service. However, the aging building needs to be replaced by a more modern one with a two to three story parking lot. This aged facility is more than 30 to 50 years old. Time to upgrade! Hot dishes are excellent. But, today's guava pastry was a big disappointment! The cortadito was excellent but without a fresh guava pastry, a setback. Overall, I would consider returning ad long as this message is taken serious.

Been coming here since 1996. Born in Miami, I grew up eating Cuban food daily. This place reminds me of home. I sit at the counter when I'm by myself for a quick cortadito and I love sitting next to different people. When I come with my family we sit at the dining room. I'm always happy I came, especially when I get the check! Priced right and I practice my Spanish :)

Looks are deceiving, but you don’t go to La Teresita for great curb appeal. Yeah, it could be a tad-bit cleaner, but it’s Cuban food done right. The best Blue-Collar Cuban restaurant in Tampa. Eating in the diner side is an added experience. If you prefer, they do have a restaurant side as well. The food is good, the portions are generous, the prices are cheap, the staff is friendly. You can certainly pay more but you won’t get better Cuban food anywhere. This a my favorite Cuban restaurant so far in Florida. I drive 45 minutes just to eat there. Lifetime Florida resident and foodie!

READ ME: I have never written a review, but this place needs my review! This place is CRAZY GOOD! So at first I thought this place looks crappy from outside, walked inside and no change in opinion, ordered my food from their old school diner counter, and wondered if this was a good place...... Man am I happy I ordered from here! The food was cooked hot and fresh in 15 min, price was great, portion sizes are huge, food is organized in separate containers/easy to save for later in frig, and last but not least, the food is so freaking DELICIOUS!!! I recommend the fried steak, omfg it was glorious!☺go here to get best food around town! You will not have buyers remorse.

They have take out but be sure to call ahead. We didn't and we waited over 30 minutes for our take out because we ordered when we got there. I feel in conversation with another customer waiting there and asked if they always took this long and he said yes. It's a very popular place. I tried their fried rice and Cuban sandwich in my personal opinion is that I have had better. Fried rice that Publix makes in their Deli is better in my opinion.

First time coming and honestly not the experience I expected; had heard great things from my friend. We first went to the Cafe area where it was busy. Of course this is understandable but when we requested for the waitress to clean the area she did so muttering under her breath. We simply asked 'can you please clean the area, there is rice all over'. After that when we were ready to order she clearly ignored us. There was no need for the rude behavior simply for asking to clean the area. We then decided to head to the restaurant and when my friend mentioned it to the hostess she simply smirked. Is this the typical Cuban welcome? Such a pity because we had no complaints about the food. Service sucks though.
