For 10$ this was a really fun way to spend a day! There was a meal that consisted of cheeseburgers, potatoes, salad, tuna and crackers. It was pretty good, and the staff was all very nice and helpful. I took my mother and we only played the keno machines. I didn’t try anything else. The seas and wind got rough so they cut the cruise a little short, but I apprecieate them looking out for our safety. I will definitely go again in the near future!
My friends and I went on this cruise for a birthday celebration. Everything seemed alright at first. The food was good and the servers on the top deck were really friendly and helpful after we got sea sick. We had our heads down trying to sleep it off on the third deck when a customer came up and was talking to our waiter Joey who is white. The customer said "I am ready to get off I have a three hour ride back to Savannah." Joey replied "that must be nice." The customer said " no I hate it, it is full of N WORDS." Joey replied, "we got a couple of them right here but your good they are sleep so I don't think they can hear you", referring to my friends and I. I had my head down but I was not sleep so I heard the entire conversation. A women who I believe is the owner of the ship was sitting a few tables away while they had this loud conversation and I am almost positive she heard her employee and her customer refer to us as N WORDS. We still had two hours left on the ship so I did not confront anyone but that was the most traumatic 6 hours of my life. I do not recommend giving this establishment your money especially if you are a person of color. I am hurt and disappointed at my experience on this cruise.
It was ok waitresses where slow I never got asked if I wounded a drink while playing Craps and definitely not while playing slot machines so I bought my drinks from the bar" and I broke even after paying for three of us so over all it was ok
The lunch they provided was delicious and everything but the ship needs to be updated. And I understand that it's a smaller ship but I took some people with me and they stated that they won't return due all the rocking.
Good place to go to play slots.. needs to be handicap friendly. And be sure and take a light jacket or sweater. ..they keep it tooooooooo cold and you will freeze your butt off
The experience we had tonight was unfortunate with the fact that their AC went out and they cancelled the nightly cruise. On the positive side the food was good and the employees were friendly. Upon cancelling the cruise we were given a voucher for us plus 2 guest to return. Look forward to actually being able to cruise next time.
Comfortable relaxing on decks free for military. Slots and tables bring jacket you may need brunch is a snack salad hamburger fries soda free dance floor keroke electric plugs
Had a good time. Food was ok. Had been on a different gambling cruise that had a nice outside deck with chairs which was great on the return trip. Would be nice if this ship had the same accommodations.
We went on 3-10-18 and had a blast. We got free tickets to board and a meal from the visitor center. The staff was friendly and they had lots of games to choose from. Someone said bring a sweater and I'm glad I did. It can get cool. The only downside...the cigarette smoke. The a.c. helps and I used my sweater to cover my nose and moved away. Over all the experience was fun for us. We will be returning.
It is a fun time over all. Cruise left at about 7:45 p.m. and we were back at the dock by 1 am. Dinner closes at 8 so get there about an hour and a half before departure. Food wasn’t too bad. The game slots were awesome, great view at the top deck. The only killer thing is the smoking. Non-smokers probably won’t enjoy this place so much. They should have a floor for smokers and one for non-smokers. You came out smelling like cigarettes which was pretty upsetting. $10 entry. Military or Federal Employee free entry . MUST be 18+ to enter and show government issued photo I.D.
It was ok I guess. The staff was nice. The buffet choices are very limited. It would be a good idea to eat before you get on just in case. Thank God we did. I mainly played slots once we were out in the international waters. Bingo was a blast! The wind on the top deck wasn't as bad. This was my first time being on a boat. I did good. I didn't through up almost fell a few times because on the way back the waves were choppy as crap! I would go back and recommend to others!
A colossal waste of 5 hours of my time! It sounded like a good idea before we set out, but took only 10 minutes to realize we'd made a mistake. Extremely sketchy food, dirty, broken down slot machines and the cigarette smoke was overwhelming! That's not even the worst part. I took my elderly mother and there was not a single chair to sit down outside on deck where we had to spend most of our time just so we could breathe. Terrible time!
Worse night on a boat ever! Would have given 5 negative stars if posible. A ton of machines were broken. Two of those that I did play broke during play and I had to go find someone to fix the machine so that i could cash out. The workers were flirting with each other and others were sleeping upstairs. I wish I had stayed at home rather than make the effort to go on that boat and waste my time and money. Oh, and my wife got sea sick.
Freezing cold the boat and food was terrible. The staff was rude and when u asked a question they had no clue what u were talking about. Wanted to play bingo and just kept asking and got nothing until someone said to asked the cruise director and he was very rude stating that they did announce that they were playing bingo and never did. I'll go back to Connecticut before I ever spend a dime on this damn place again. Very f***ing displeased never again.
I was in Savannah for business and brought my wife with me on this trip. We decided to go on the Thursday night cruise. We paid the $10 each and boarded. Everyone was very friendly. We went to the dining deck and ate the dinner that came with the cruise. Not bad for $10. Beef tips, curry shrimp, or boiled shrimp over rice, green beans, cucumber and tomato salad, greens salad, fresh fruit, and vanilla pudding were on the menu. I had the beef tips which were good and the wife had the shrimp. It also it included tea or soft drinks. It was nice to sit on the deck eating while we started to get under way. I also have to say that this boat was very clean and not just for a boat but for a casino in general. Business takes me to many areas including Las Vegas and the cleanliness was on par or better than some casinos on land I have been to. When we got out into international waters the games opened up. I usually only play craps in the casino. I opened the table and have to say the dealers were great. Matt, Mark, and Robert kept the game fun and we talked a lot during the night. There was only one other person playing craps so it was very nice to keep getting the dice. The dealers kept the game flowing and were laid back. Kudos to them. The wife played slots and some roulette. Robert, the floor manager was very nice as well. Kyle in the cage was very nice to my wife as well as everyone else, heck even the chef shook our hands as we left the boat for the night. We had a few drinks, I won some money on the craps table and we had a great time. I will definitely be back if business brings me back to the area. Great job to the whole crew!!!!!
