The Reef Seafood Bar

Google says open to 10pm. Their website says AT LEAST 10pm. Drive there 25min? Arrive 730pm? Closed. No lights. Sign is on, and people keep driving into the parking lot and looking disappointed before leaving while we quickly look for another place. Edit: no sign posted saying closed or why. Edit: apparently they went out of business.

Stop here for lunch whenever we are in Flagstaff. They recently remodeled, so it has a more open feel to it. Food is always great! Best French onion soup ever. My husband loves the steak skewer appetizer, I've had the crab cakes, zucchini/mushroom appetizer and the salmon. Only downside (for me) is that they no longer serve the scallops at lunch.

The food was dry and tasteless, service was on par. We had a order of Calamari Oysters Top sirloin steak New York Strip Steak Calamari tasted and felt like you were eating rubber bands. The oysters were served without horseradish sauce as well. The steaks were extremely tough and cooked with almost no seasoning as well. This would not be as bad of a review if the bill wasn't over 100$. Busters is trying to be a high class restruant by just throwing some paint on the walls and some mood music. You have to up the quality of the food to make people come back.

I've gone several times to the original Busters and it was decent; Enough to keep me coming back. I was eager to try the new restaurant, remodel and new owners. Wow. They turned this place from a hero to a complete ZERO. The remodel was first bland and boring. The wait staff was not on their game (which I will get to) We all ordered different things, (Steak, crab sandwich, and salad) The steak came out extremely small and under cooked - We sent it back to have it cooked a little more - Came back charred and over cooked (Medium was the requested order) The crab sandwich was as described - A soft shell crab with a bun - It was disgusting, over breaded, over salted, soggy; Absolutely terrible . I would not even feed it to my cat. The ONLY food item they did a good job on was the complimentary bread and muffins. Now to the wait staff, our server was a nice guy, but completely oblivious to our disliking of all of our meals. We didn't finish our crab sandwiches and mentioned how foul they were, he didn't care or offer anything in place of it. Water was never refilled until we asked. I will never be back to Busters. These new owners use low quality ingredients and could care less about quality. This speaks through every single restaurant they own (Oakmont, Taverna and now Busters) 1/10

Nicer inside than we were expecting. Good atmosphere, though it can get a bit loud (even in the dining area, they need more sound absorption). No bread or salads were offered while awaiting meal, though salads could be purchased separately. We both ordered the sirloin, a medium and a medium rare. The medium came out well done, Charred (burned). The Medium rare was that. They offered to remake the medium though we didn't want to wait for another. They did comp the steak of the bill and provided a small gift certificate to make it right next time. The rice pilaf was amazing. The potatoes au gratin were okay, but not much flavor. We did request mushrooms and onions on the steak and there were tons with Good flavor. We will be back to see if they can do better next time! The price was very reasonable, $15.99 for 8 oz sirloin.
