Visiting friends nearby and they were at work, I figured I'd spend some time gambling. Parked in the casino parking lot, only to find out the doors had big, "Closed" signs in front of them So, I took the long walk around the block to enter through the street entrance. I wanted to play 3 card poker and there was only 1 table in the place with only 5 seats. I waited patiently behind the players for over 90 minutes while at least 1 or 2 of the 5 seats had "reserved" chips on them. A seat finally opened and when I went to sit down and place my money on the table, the dealer, a bald woman, asked me if I was on the waiting list. I told her that I wasn't aware there was a list and I had been waiting there for an hour and a half. She said, "there is a list and you have to be on it to take the open seat." I said, "screw it" and left. What makes it even funnier is that the people that were playing were playing the minimum $5 and I play 3 to 5 times that. Their loss.

If u enjoy losing and a staff that walks by two by two talking to each and not contacting customers. This is the casino for u. What a poor example of a casino. It was once a fair casino today its a chapter 11 in waiting.

Such a fun place to be at! It’s crazy here and what made it better was our waitress. Her name was Lydia. She is really nice and goes out of her way for the customers. One of the best I’ve ever witnessed at casino; definitely coming back to play.

I went to Hollywood Casino with some friends and lost lost lost. I really have never had any luck when I go there. Kind of a bummer. I had fun with my friends anyway. But mostly just not somewhere I plan to go any time soon.

I brought my boyfriend here for his 40th birthday, because he had never been to a casino before. We had a blast. The place is clean and the staff member at the cage was kind. They have many penny slot machines and a huge variety of games. We will definitely be back for the dinner buffet and to gamble.

Had such a pleasant visit this evening. The young lady ariella was working at the gift shop and she directed me towards which machines I could look up my points are and she even helped me change my pin! I went to the buffet and was a little disappointed that there were no crab legs but everything else was delicious! Security was so helpful when I needed to be directed to the valet parking! Will come again!

Nice casino and very good dinning options. No more boats but the bardge is very nice with lots of slots and table games. The general parking is about a block away but there is a heated and covered walkway. The area around the casino has great bars and restaurants right along the river.

If you have the money, this is a great casino! :) The staff at this location are some of the nicest folks I've encountered in a casino. This morning, a couple buddies of mine and I came out to waste some time and $$$. There was a crew of 3 dealers at the craps table that were willing and excited to teach us newbies how to play craps. I've had the same experience with patient, helpful blackjack dealers and Mississippi stud dealers as well. You dont need to go to the city or Vegas to get high-quality service!

I've had decent luck here, always a pretty fun time. Free soda, place stays clean. Decently close to aurora transportation center

I travel further to come here v. Going to elgin. I make the extended. The reason for thus is because of the dealers at Hollywood, they make the experience so much more enjoyable because they are a lot happier than the dealers at Grand Victoria in Elgin. Look, Aurora gets a bad reputation, I don't understand why, they do it better there. Rivers looks a little nicer on the inside,but the people in Aurora are better. 1. Hollywood 2. Rivers 3. The casino is a nice escape from the world for a few hours. It has a lot of slot machines with a huge variety. They offer great buffets, and live music. Free parking with a players card which is also free. They also feature a variety table games. They cater to you at each visit and have promotions always going on. My only negative comment is that it could use come renovations
