Dealers were rude. Once lady laughed every time I lost. You're better off just burning your money on a grill as nothing in this place pays off.

Not sure if people realize that the Casino is not attached to the hotel. We stopped into the casino last night before checking in....played slots for a bit then decided to get dinner at one of the numerous restaurants listed on their site There were only 2 of them open...the Take Two Deli and the 99 Hops House. Since we wanted a hot meal we had to stand in line for a seat at the 99....there was at least 1/3 of the seating roped off for VIP sitting empty while patrons were on a waiting list. They say the other restaurants were closed for weather but the rest of Joliet was open for business ... we went into town for dinner. We will not come back.

Wife and I always have a good time here. We are not the biggest gamblers, but play a few slots. We really enjoy the steakhouse here (reasonable and very good). The casino is reminiscent of those in Vegas, it is huge with plenty of free parking. They also have a nice hotel in walking/driving distance (they also have a shuttle from the hotel to casino). Again, rooms are clean and reasonably priced. They used to have Valentine’s Day weekend packages, wish they would bring those deals back. Other than that, I have no issues. Great place!

The slots are very tight, however it's not busy so you get your choice of stingy slots. Ate at the upstairs restaurant. Food was very good, however our server was much to busy chitchatting with her friend to take care of us. Very disappointed.

Room was a nice size and clean. Hot tub was great. Everyone at the hotel was very professional, courteous, and accommodating. The Final Cut steakhouse at the casino is excellent as well. Thank you everyone for an enjoyable stay.

I don't really gamble but the Epic Buffet on Friday night is amazing. Edit: They got rid of the all you can eat crab legs on Friday night so that pretty much killed it for us. We don't go there anymore. But the regular Buffet is okay nothing special.

The casino in it self was nice. The staff was not friendly at all. I played for 4 hours enjoy my next to me slot person. The staff in the other hand would pass me by and not ask if I needed anything to drink, and I'm a pretty good tipper.

The only reason I'm giving this 2 star's is because the staff at the front desk and housekeeping are so accommodating and friendly. Otherwise, our room was musty smelling. We have accessibility needs and the shower bench attached to the wall was grimey. The floor of the shower was cracked and patched. Usually these are things we can work around but when you are paying close to $200 for one night you don't want to work around anything. Also to our surprise, we had no hot water the next morning w no warning other than a sad letter that was barely slid under the door. Their compensation, late checkout. Mmm..not gonna work. Long story short..be in a pinch to stay here..Hotel in desperate need of face lift.

The casino itself is great, a little bit of everything and plenty of places to eat & drink. Very clean and modern from what I can tell. The prices are very reasonable compared to a casino in a major city. The staff there seems very professional and friendly from my experiences. Overall no real complaints, I just wish the layout was a little better. I don't mind exercise, but if you forget anything in your car, you'll spend 15 minutes walking back to it from inside. Anyway, overall very pleased.

Buffet is great. 5 stars. I had a terrible time on the slots. I don't mind losing, but I want to be entertained. Played penny slots, everyone around me getting all the bonus games. $60 in one sitting on the same machine, no bonus game whatsoever, ate that money in less than 10 minutes.

Nice clean buffet good food choices. From salads to deserts you can enjoy lots of goodies something for everyone. Always greeted at entrance with a smile and a good luck. I like that the club membership is located at the entrance so easy to swip and go for all your player's perks.forgot your card no problem get one right ther at the desk. Check points on way out who knows the buffet might be free. Go have fun and enjoy your day.

They stopped having all you could eat crab leg buffets on Fridays. Instead it was southern soul food buffet. And we didn't want to pay $35 a person for things like fried chicken, mashed potatos, soup... etc It just didn't seem worth it. That was a major bummer to me and my family as crab is our favorite seafood. Though, the staff was really friendly and let us look at the available food so we could make up our minds. Then they suggested a good alternative place to eat. The food isn't what it used to be, but the employees are happy to help.

I don't know how they can keep the doors open and have the tight slots they have. I haven't been here in well over a year and I frequently go to other Hollywood Casinos around the country. By far this one is the worst still. Don't count on winning here this is just a money Dumper in my opinion. The food still is well under par and the place is starting to look a little out of date for my standards. This location is permanently off my list for sure. I don't need to just throw my money away here. I don't need there cheap gifts to try and lure me back in. I've got many high roller friends in the area and now I'll take there word that this location has become even a bigger rip off for gaming. And it was so hot and muggy inside I had to leave with my 1000.00 still in my pocket. Goodluck Hollywood.

I love this casino, it's one of my favorites...... Edit... I came back today to enjoy the casino but first I walked to the side to see the river, as many times as I've been here i had no idea it was there so i figured i take a peek real quick then head on in. When a man popped out the side door telling me that it was employees only. I said that i only wanted to look at the river real quick then I'd be done but he was having none of it. Couldn't even suggest a place i could go to look at it that was away from the employee section. I'm very disappointed, needless to say I didn't go in after getting turned away. What a waste of a good view, keeping customers from enjoying it 😔

The only bad thing I can say about this place is one employee. I may not spell her name right but here goes. Astaria was at the front desk. We walked in and I told her we were about twenty minutes early. Before I could add we paid extra for early check in, she looked at the clock and said you are way too early. Quite rudely, because we were interrupting her flirting with the man who was already there. You can't check in til 4. I said we paid for early check in. She didn't even look up our reservation. So we went over to the seating area and waited for the twenty minutes. We were then called back to the front desk by another woman. Karen was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The young lady who sets up the breakfast in the mornings is also so friendly. Clean rooms. The room we had the air conditioner didn't work well at all. We were too warm. the dial wouldn't go below 70. With a hot tub in the room, it get warm. So you will need the a/c. Aside from the one, every employee was so happy and smiling. If you get a chance to eat at the Final Cut Steak house, do it. The food was amazing and if you leave hungry, that's your own fault. haha. We will go back there again. We won't let one bad egg ruin a whole place for us.

To be honest, I am not a casino going gambling type of guy, but after walking into this amazing gem, your life changes almost instantly, very clean well lit with amazing art colors and details, including all typesof activities, this place is a great hand out and meet up kind of place, high winning chances I heard too. If you haven't been... Get There!

PROS: Hotel is clean and decorated in a really cool, modern way. It also smells nice and new, you can tell they keep it up. Also, the staff here is awesome, everyone was super nice and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was great! (Eggs, Bacon, Potatoes, Assorted Breads, Muffins, Cereals, etc.) CONS: There is a $10 "Amenity Fee" that isn't listed anywhere and you're not allowed to check-in until you pay this additional fee. Seemed super scammy since we booked online and these "amenities" were already listed as part of the deal. We also had to fill out a 2 page form listing information about each traveler including phone number as well as the make, model and license plate number of our vehicle. Don't know your license plate number by heart? No problem, they will wait while you walk outside to go and get it. In my case it was 11 pm, 20 degrees and snowing. Lastly, the room was filled with signs warning you not to steal anything, not to smoke (we don't / gross) and when you were expected to absolutely vacate the room. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: This hotel is *NOT* inside of or even connected to the casino. It is about a 1/2 mile away. Don't expect to walk back and forth unless it's daytime and the weather is nice.
