We called in advance if they could seat a party of 16. When we get there, they had no idea what we were talking about. They said give them 15 minutes; 50 minutes later still not seated. No apology whatsoever. I also would give a ZERO review.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We have been waiting over an hour as of right now. We have drinks and finally got our appetizer of fried pickles. They had pieces of chicken and French fries in them and taste like old grease. You cant seem to find a waitress for a refill, but let a table get up and leave and 3 ppl are there to get the tip and clean it up. Everyone around us has been waiting for an hour+ also. The lady beside me got her salad and asked for dressing and the girl who brought it replied " I'm not the food runner so...." and walked off. I wish we had read the reviews before we sat down because this is ridiculous. Do NOT WASTE your time or money!!

We saved Fat Jacks for our final night in Hot Springs because it sounded amazing. Oysters on the half shell were very good. After that...the entrees of etouffe & gumbo were very salty, not spicy AND made with fake seafood! My husbands bourbon & water had just enough liquor in it slightly tint the water. My margarita I’m pretty sure had NO tequila. Total waste of my time & money!

Fun atmosphere. Pets welcome on patio. Located at the end of the line for shopping on the main drag. Food good. Not great, but good. Nice place to relax, have a drink or eat, after walking the main drag before turning around to go up the other side of the street.

I would give a zero if I could. Worst experience I've had in a really long time. We like to eat local and they appeared to have a good atmosphere but that's where it ends. We had horrible service from our waitress. No refills for two hours, no silverware, barely could get her to come take our payment for the check. Wait over an hour for food, waitress said the kitchen was backed up, but when we finally got our food it wasn't even warm. It had been sitting there for who knows how long. Absolutely awful.

Gumbo is great, staff is friendly, bar is divey. Bikers gawking at me when I walk in is a little daunting, but an overall great bowl of gumbo and fried fish. Definitely one of the nicer tourist restaurants I've been to.

This place was amazing. My kids really enjoyed this place. The food was amazing and so was the service. Very fast and friendly.

Felt overpriced for the quality of food received. I mean it wasn't awful but there was nothing special about it..I had the chicken pasta and it tasted like my crockpot chicken spaghetti with absolutely no Cajun seasoning. Sister ordered a $12 crawfish bread and it was literally two pieces of bread with crawfish and cheese melted on to it...again..nothing special about taste or presentation and definitely not worth the money spent. Server was nice but didn't understand how to split our check.

On vacation with my boyfriend and we stopped at Fat Jack's the last day of our trip to celebrate. We were greeted at the door and seated. We sat for at least 20 minutes before a waitress approached us. She asked if we had been helped we told her "No", it was obvious that she could tell that we had been there awhile. She did not offer to bring us water or anything, but said that she would be right back. After waiting for another 5 minutes, we decided to leave. From the other reviews, it appears that this type of service is the norm. We will NEVER return or recommend this place to anyone. After reading the reviews, I am so glad that we left and didnot eat here. This was the biggest disappointment that I have seen in a very long time. The worst part is that they were not really BUSY. At least that would have explained some of the reasoning for the beyond poor service. If you go to Hot Springs expecting a pleasurable trip, Do NOT patronize this place. You will be VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

This bar is awesome!! Not only is the atmosphere great but the food and drinks are even better. If you're there during sporting events they have satellite tv so you will never miss the big game. I have been to Fat Jacks twice and both times have been great. I love their fried oysters but everything I've tried is awesome!! If you're in the area go try Fat Jacks !!!

Atmosphere was fun, cozy. Drinks were really good and reasonably priced. Food was good. Overall- nice casual hangout, but not a place I would specifically venture out to for the food alone.

The place was really busy so we had to sit at the bar (which I had to problem with). It was cool to watch the bar tender make drinks, and he was super nice (Ryan). The food was DELICIOUS!! We had Slim Tom's, Jack Caps, and Spinach and Chicken Quesadilla. It took a long time to get our food, but we know it was busy. Also, they messed up our quesadillas but fixed it quickly. GREAT PLACE!!

Waited a long time to be sat while the guy working was just sitting at the bar. The server we had was sub-par and on the rude side. Fish wasn't even good, you can definitely make better at home. Server never came back to check on us so we were without drinks for awhile. Then never came to get our card to pay so we had to go up front and ask another server. Overall, would never go back.

Our party of 11 was seated at a table for 8. Our appetizers alone took over an hour and they only brought half of them. Our meal took 2 hours and was short four orders. There were very few people there besides us yet people were coming in, eating, and leaving before we ever got our order. We never saw the wait staff except for the two times they dropped food off. I almost could have tolerated the ridiculous wait and pathetic service if the food had been descent but we ended up paying over $200 for the worst food I have ever been served. Every singe order, even the chicken strips, were disgusting. Ribeye, crab cakes, gumbo, oysters, cheeseburger, chicken strips...all absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time or money. Just go to McDonald's.

We've been here before and the food has always been good. The last time, our server was so enjoyable and nice that it made the night.
