The staff at this casino was very friendly and helpful. The casino seemed a little older in appearance, but the slots were up to date. When we visited, it seemed the visitors were older than those at Harrah's. It may have just been a coincidence, however.

This is, by far, the best of the casinos in Council Bluffs. Very roomy and lots of gaming options. On busy days it can be difficult to find an open table, but when you do, the dealers are always friendly and helpful. The food service is always good too. Only drawback is how smokey it is inside.

I love this place! I seem to win more here than at the other casino. I love dressing up and coming here, the atmosphere makes you feel as if youre in Vegas and the smell throughout the casino is welcoming.

Amazing place to gamble. Get down there spend some money, enjoy some of their amazing steakhouse jack binions. Play and stay at their awesome hotel!

Love the smell of this place like fresh laundry every where even though its smoking casino. Wish there were more of my fav games. Did win decent. Buffet has tons of options. Will go back.

Wonderful customer service. Everytime I have entered Horseshoe Casino I have been greeted with an enthusiastic employee. I visit Horseshoe Casino at least 2 to 3 times a week for the past 2 years. I have not one complaint. Employees are for sure the absolute best.

Good casino close to Omaha. This casino has good action and a pretty good poker room. In my opinion has good ventilation as it did not seem overly smoky inside. Easy access from i-80. There was good action on Saturday night. Only place around the Omaha metro with live poker action.

They are conveniently located off of exit 1 behind the truck stops. they have plenty of truck parking and I hear the food is good, but unfortunately when you're playing their machines blowing all your money you can't even get a free beer and they charge 4.25 for a bottle of Budweiser! And if you want to use their ATM machine to spend your money at their facility you'll have to pay almost five bucks for a fee! After 4 or 5 visits it seems to be a money pit I can't even say I recalled seeing anybody win anything big but they sure take a lot of money in 😣 I don't think I would ever return.

Getting a good Valet employee is a coin toss... I have dealt with 3 RUDE valet employees... There is 1 that is Amazing and i cant remember his name but he is an African American man and has the best manners i have ever seen.. Even if he doesnt Valet us if he sees us in the casino he always make a point to come over and say Hello.. They need more employees like him.

I love horseshoe casino. I won $600. This last time. The time before that. I lost 300. So it's a love hate kinda deal. But horseshoe is a nicely run casino.

Arrived today, and as we are checking in to the RV park...a guy is turning in a police report to security about his truck being broken into. Promptly warns us to make sure to lock up anything we wanna keep. The "park" is actually a big parking lot with water and electric hookups only. All spots are back in only. No pull throughs. They do have a dump station though if needed. The rates seem excessive for the neighborhood and lack of amenities. $40-50 a night, plus a $50 deposit for every night you stay. Casino is clean, and location is not bad.

Was playing on dollar no one on stuff ever said hello. When they walk by spend 500 ÷ in that time. And drink lady's never been ask if like a drink. I know machine got a drink button but kindness helps also

I love this place as a truck driver there is so much room to park the truck and so convenient right behind the truck stops at Exit 1. It is very big inside with lots of machines and they were also able to give me a new card that I haven't used in over 20 years kind of surprised they still had my information from that far back all in all a great experience I'll have to come back when I have more money!

We visit the Horseshoe Casino every other Friday. The slots are so much fun~~~both the quarter and penny slots!! The Blackjack tables have the best dealers. Friendly, helpful, and considerate!!!!

Great place overall. Wish they had more lower minimum black jack tables, but I made out alright anyways.

Obviously, I'd like a better payout ratio. Nice clean casino. Steakhouse a bit pricey, but they have a buffet, and deli. Deli food was better than I thought it would be. And beer and liquor! Casino has a few odd liquor laws, but nothing that would stop me from a return visit.

Tightest slots on the face of the earth. If you don't hit a jackpot, you don't hit anything at all. We saw 1 while we were there for $1,250.00, but wasn't us. They obviously don't want people to go there to gamble! You would think they would try to draw people in there. Have no reason to go back. Don't recommend Horseshoe to anyone.

We go to Horseshoe for the buffet. They offer six themed stations for a varied selection, plus a dessert island. Each option is well staffed by friendly, helpful people. The table service is attentive and courteous. Afterwards, the gambling option is there but no one loses at the buffet. Pricing is a bit steep at $26 per but if you join the club prior, there may be discounts.
