Over priced, none of the staff smiles, they clear plates but do not refill beverages. The food is mediocre, the decor does not make sense with textures and colors. Its not a welcoming environment and features no bathroom so you must leave and walk through other areas for use.
I saw that this place had a 2.8 star rating, in my opinion that is twice what it should be. I would never waste money on that food or service again. Roast beef is supposed to be hot, chicken is supposed to be hot, ham and prime rib is supposed to be hot, clam boil is supposed to be hot. I've seen daddy long legs with bigger legs than what they were calling crab legs and they were also cold. When I mentioned to the server/waitress my disappointment in the whole thing she replied with "that's how it always is" as she was walking away to replace the glass of water she brought with the glass of root beer that I asked for. I know that I will never cross the threshold of the FARMERS PICK BUFFET again. No farmer would ever pick that slop and claim it as his.
I just don't understand all of the negative reviews on here.
I have only started going to any casino about 2 years ago. We can't afford to go out often, however my husband and I will on occasion go on mini honeymoons. Almost always at The Isle, love everything there, the rooms, staff, dining choices, etc. Yes a bit pricey but we always enjoy our time there.
The food was awful, my youngest daughter and I both ended up getting sick. The waitress was kind and the drinks were good we had 2 lemonades, a water and cranberry juice. I would never reccomand this place is over priced for the food quality. We used to go there a lot when it was up stairs the food was amazing then! Definitely gone down hill! Also the management didn’t seem to care that my daughter and aunt got sick! Bad management and food!👎👎👎
If you're going here for the crab legs, DON'T! Osaka Buffet has better crab legs during their dinner time. The other food was decent enough for the price. Service was good, just was disappointed because I went their expecting decent crab legs. Buffet is pretty small considering the casino size.
Food was terrible the main entrees were chicken fried pork chops, salmon, & beef brisket. The brisket was tougher than nails forgive them lord for they know not what they do. Frozen salmon, disgusting. Best thing was the asparagus and diet coke. I'm a foodie and I promise you the food was terrible for 14.99 or even for 9.99. I guess it's iowa and they can get away with tat...avoid!!
The food was alright, but the wait staff was horrible. Disrespectful, slow service that express attitude when the smallest request is asked, like a refill. I will not be back.
Food is pretty good, but too small of buffet for such a big casino/hotel. Service is often slow and mediocre. In addition prices are high if you don't have coupons or casino play-based discounts.
