The dog races were great. Thankfully they was a non smoking section. Same can't be said for the casino, so much smoke it cod not be enjoyable. 99% slot machines, very few table games. Could not find craps or roulette other than video style.

The casino was pleasant however the smoke is thick. My husband and I walked out of there smelling like ashtrays! Yuk! But we did some money and the food is delicious! Over all we had a nice time and so will you! Good luck!😁

I can say I really enjoyed my experience here. And with this being a gambling facility I understand why the price for the food is ridiculously high. The only issue I have is the limited parking. There's no way they're charging for food and whatever else they may be selling, and people are feeding these machines and tables as much as they do and they don't have enough parking spaces. I felt like I was playing Russian roulette just trying to beat someone to a doggone park! I went in the early part of the day and I went again Saturday night, and it was even worst at night. People were parking in no park zones...making spaces...parking on side the street...anywhere trying to run in this building to spend their money. Maybe they need to look into buying that big empty field on the other side of the street to expand. Just a thought...

Definitely NOT a place to take someone to dinner on weekends. The My hubby and I spent just under $80.00/ not including the tip on dinner for 2. The buffet line was long af..but the food is decent but not for that high price. The wait staff needs to be more outgoing and friendlier also they should pass more frequently and ask customers if they need refills on their drinks for a HIGH BUFFET MEAL.... Also, I don't gamble..yet this place is where one can go to gamble..see dog races as well. My hubby and I are truck drivers and happened to stop in. Overall... No complaints other than the waiting line. Enjoy EVERYONE! Best of luck on your winnings. :)

Great adult fun! Wish there was a non-smoking section and that they would stop moving my favorite games around. Spend a lot of plsying time looking for favorite machines. The slots don't seem to go into bonus as often as they used to. I know they like the sound to entice others but I wish I could mute machines if I want. Last visit was fun and I am planning next visit.

Came for the All Day All You Can Eat Crab Leg Saturday for $37.00. I was surprised when I also seen Whole Lobster's were also part of the Feast. So much food but I was only here for the Seafood...

I love going here! I always have such a great time, and sometimes even leave with more money than I came with! The only downside, if you would consider it as such, is that the alcoholic beverages are not free of charge like other casinos close by. But it's always a great time: food, live music, fun, and wins!

Very clean, clean smell too despite allowing smoking. Tons of machines but very few video poker and keno machines. Fun, friendly and helpful staff. Watched one person hit for over $1100.00 and another hit for over $12,000!!! I'd go back.

Still taking peoples hard earned cash! This place was going strong and people winning, but boy has that seemed to have changed. Ever since their renovations all they do now is take..take..take with poor comps. My advice, dont even try to gamble at this establishment!

This is a nice place to go with a friend or mate. The atmosphere is nice the food is great but if you have a low tolerance to cold temperatures I suggest you bring a light jacket otherwise you'll have a good time there. And hopefully you will win some money. Oh yes, they allow smoking there. So if you can't tolerate the smoke bring a mast, people do wear them there

My husband and I have NEVER won anything at this place out of the 3 times we have visited. Today there was a fire false alarm and the entire back area was closed off so we weren't able to get any food! The electricity went out in the center section and all of the machines shut off during every ones playing session! Wow, never experienced this before at any other casino we have been to. We've tried the buffet here twice before and it was pretty bad as well. We have been to just about every casino in states that allow gambling and this is one of the WORST. The people working the bar this morning were pretty nice and that's about it. I don't think we will be returning to this place again, it's not worth it at all.

I love Southland Greyhound Park it is the closest place to Memphis to go gamble and it's fun and exciting the only drawback is you have to pay for your alcohol if you could get Nickel Free while you gamble with the amazing other than that great place you can gamble you can play the dogs and have a great time

Finally hit a jackpot!! Enjoy the bars and upstairs where dog racing enthusiasts hang. The bourbon street restaurant is excellent..they give a welcome Hurricane shot...almost felt like I was back at "the big easy".. lol

It's fine. Nice that it close. Not enough table games. The ones they do have are virtual and that feels so cheap. The actual tables with humans running the game we're too expensive. Drinks could be cheaper. There aren't many waiters around.

The buffet area is way to small for the number of people visiting the casino. The seafood buffet is overpriced at $ 32. The casino has a wide variety of slot machines. However, the slot machines will take every penny you put in them. Your chances of winning is between slim and none. Sammy Hagar's bar and grill was real nice and the food is way better than the buffet. Parking is terrible on weekends because they've out grown the parking lot. Overall the casino is nice and clean. Also, they have plenty of rest rooms and they are always clean.

My girlfriend and I went for a night out. The casino is nice and offer's a wide variety of slot machines along with a few table games. They have a snack bar, a buffet and a sports bar and grill (Red Rockers). We ate at Red Rockers. The menu features a variety of items. The food is good and the portions are more than enough to satisfy any appetite.
