Lexington/Kentucky Room

The room was very nice looking and have me a feeling of relaxation. The bed was VERY comfortable and gave us a well rested mood the next morning. The staff are pleasant and kind. Parking is cramped due to their location. Access to shopping is good, with in walking distance. I was here with my wife on a company trip.

Stayed here and got a king room #312, when we arrived the tub was full of water and running, we pulled the plug and shut the water off. The tub has peeled paint and big stains. The bathroom floor had stains all over. Then we go to bed and the furnace/ac is right next to the bed/pillow and is obnoxiously loud and continues to go off and on all night. So you are woke up startled about every 20 minutes. Then at 830am they have their staff go around and knock on all doors waking people up. I opened the door and asked what she wanted and she was already at the next room, she said they were checking to see if people were still here and would come back later, I said they should come after 11am check out. My husband went down and found them and went to the desk to complain, the woman there said they always do this to see if people left already, she said not everyone checks out and thought it was no big deal that they wake everyone up. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.

Lexington/Kentucky Room

This is a very elegant yet older hotel. Lots of room for meetings and such. The rooms are well appointed but in my experience the luxury of a working ac unit was “hit or miss” and they do not have a microwave in any of their rooms. The bed, for me, gave a good nights sleep and the pillows were down filled and very soft and cool. The tubs are huge jacuzzi tubs that some might find difficult to climb over in. I stumped my toe twice trying to get into the shower. They have a great bar located in the courtyard which can get very loud at night if a lot of folks are having a night cap, remember that if you get a inside or courtyard side room. The restaurant downstairs has amazing food for a reasonable price and the breakfast bar is the best I have encountered. I didn’t get a chance to use the fitness center or pool because of weather. Hotel is within walking distance of several great restaurants.

My wife and I stayed at this Double Tree in December 2016 and it was beautiful, staff friendly, just everything put us in great mind set and a feeling of peace. My wife made it back there on a weekend get away on 3/17/17 and well, she was not there alone. But let me Reiterate, this place is awesome!

I have to come to Lexington once a week to help my grandmother. Since I can't keep my dog at her house I have to stay at a hotel. The doubletree is amazing!! Not only can I go and relax there in the comfy beds and huge tub, but they treat my pup amazingly. Especially since he's an abuse case and we're still trying to get him to understand that not all people are going to hurt him or me.

These people are some of the nicest hotel staff I have met. In my first room the water was running in my tub, I called the front desk and she promptly changed my room. The room was clean, spacious, and overall very comfortable. Allison was working and she super nice and super accommodating. She didn’t miss a beat when I left my coat in the previous room. I couldn’t have asked for better accomdations at a stressful time for me. Any other time I need to stay overnight in Lexington Doubletree will be my first choice!

Lexington/Kentucky Room

Although I live in Lexington, KY, I have never been inside of the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel an is located in a great spot. Only problem is that it has to share parking with the shops and restaurants in the area but it's still not an extremely bad thing. I would recommend the Double Tree Suites to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

My wife and I love this hotel. The staff is nice, and the New Orleans themed ambiance upon entry is enlightening. From the delicious cookies, full service breakfast buffet, to the little embellishments that can be added on, this hotel has a little of everything for every occasion. I would give it a five, but the minor flop with room service left something to be desired, but the meal was removed from the bill. We will definitely be returning for another stay. Thanks.
