Never give play backs. Put 20 in & didn't get one playback. Not my favorite place. My husband & I quit often and get 5 reward play. Others casino we go to give 25 to 30.

Third time staying at Evangeline Downs. The bathroom shower curtains do not reach the floor so well in the shower, water splatters over the floor as you step it pouch. The food was very good, but they only had boiled eggs, and no bacon just sausage today. Beds are kind of high for elderly people to get in, need a step stool for short people.

I enjoy coming here to gamble every now and then. It's the only place around that has real slot machines. The only thing I didn't like is the place is filled with cigarette smoke. They have a buffet that is pretty good and sometimes they give discounts for the buffet.

I enjoy staying here. Very nice down to earth people. Good hospitality at the front desk of the hotel. Good loose slots too. I work out from time to time as well. This my spot when i come to town.

Fun to watch the races and spend a few bucks gambling if you can afford it. I could easily spend all day there because there is so much to do

It's very nice an for my me time this is where I go but I never win an I been going there for a lot of years. I play my card an I don't never win I take it out an the same thing happen nothing. When I come over there I already know I'm going to lose. My thing is I just come over there to donate. But y'all still have a nice place overall. I guess i will win one day.

I stayed at this hotel for Memorial Day Weekend. Everything was clean, but my room, room 135, smelled of smoke. I'm assuming because the room was next to the entrance to the casino. Housekeeping sprayed air freshener and it helped. Many members of my family stayed and we had several rooms booked. My real problem with the hotel was that my daughter needed something out of my room and went to the front desk and requested a card to get in. She was given a key card with no identification, she was not asked her name nor did they call me and ask if it was ok for her to enter my room. The guy at the desk had no idea what her relationship to me was. I asked him why he gave out a key card to my room and his response was "why?? Is something missing?" Really???? No "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that" He had NO IDEA why I had a problem with him randomly giving out key cards without my permission. He needs further training!!! Other than him, rest of the staff was great.

Went to eat at the buffet. Arrived at 9 pm. We were charged 40.o6 for 2 buffets. When we went to serve ourselves there was hardly no food and it was cold. There were no plates out. We asked our waitress what was going on she tried to help us but never came back to tell us anything. Had to use a small salad. Plate . The food we were able to get was cold and dried out. Finally the waitress came back and brought us some more drinks but never said anything except that the buffet line should have been full. Never again will I go back Andi will not recommend this place.

Ate at The Cafe. Ordered medium steak, it was well done. Corn & potatoes were cold. Beers were cool, not cold. Side salads were best thing of meal.

The food was terrible. food that was supposed to be hot was stone cold. Nor flavor to the food. Looked like some of the food had been sitting there for hours and hours. Dried out and crusty looking. We will never be back there again. worst food from a place in many years.

THE rooms are nice and clean. Very nice big cotton towels. A good hot and cold breakfast in the morning. Coffee 24/7. It's very very quiet here. If you like to gamble the hotel casino is n walking distance. This hotel also have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Walmart is right around the corner from the hotel. If you like to drink you can go to the casino and drink for free as long as your playing a game. Give it a try y'all. I love this place.

1 out of 200 Times I come here I win maybe 100 dollars. So tell me who is the winner.I don't use a player's card because it does no good, it only helps the owner keep track of how much he makes off me. I am finally realizing that this casino is really a rip-off. I haven't met one poor person that was happy in this place. Only the people who already have money win!!

Ate the buffet, fish was lukewarm, bread was good, cake was stale, pork steak was tender, machines don't pay out very often! I did earn 12000 slot points and 1200 card points. Although, I don't understand why there are 2 different kind of points. I only receive $10 for the whole month! But, at Paragon, I receive $10 everyday! And I've only been to Paragon one time! I guess they know how to treat people and want my business.

Went to the casino about 3:30 Friday 1-26-18. Machine so tight doesn't let you play. You can spend 30 times and not win anything. Myself I like to play $0.50, 1.00 slots. When I go in to a casino I anticipate playing 300 to 400 dollars. To me the casino is dingy and dirty. One positive thing about this casino the employees are super nice. One more thing I don't play with a card don't like anyone tracking my activities.
