TRY the "Monster Roast Beef" sandwich or the "Cajun Burger". I have eaten both and highly recommend. Decent service too. Very pleased with my visits here.

Awesome fried pickles. Would say some of the better ones I've had in some time. The service was impressive considering the large crowd. The deep fried chicken was amazing as well, and the beer choice is excellent, sizes run big but slightly expensive in my opinion. And that would honestly be the only complaint.

I have lived in Shak for a little over two years now and my wife and I finally decided we would try this Shakopee staple. We showed up there on a Saturday afternoon around 3-330ish so they were not very busy other than what appeared to be a wedding reception going on at the bar area, but the dining area only had a few tables filled. We waited a long time for someone to finally pay attention to us and find us an empty seat. They offered us a seat on the stage, my wife and I gave each other a look like, "Nah, lets not be on display to a wedding party as we gulp down whatever fine dining this establishment has prepared for us." I told the hostess that we preferred a booth and she obliged my request, that was apparently a bad idea. Maybe they wanted to put us on the stage because their visual acuity is on par with a T-rex. Once they sat us and got us our drinks (a water and a soda) we instantly became invisible. The staff was super nice......to all the other customers enjoying their afternoon but for whatever reason they failed to notice us. I finally chased down a waitress but by that point my wife and I were done being ignored and decided to visit another restaurant. We offered to pay for the one soda but the waitress gave it to us on the house, so they are nice once they know you exist. The water tasted like tap water and my wife enjoyed her few sips of free soda. Maybe we will try again in a couple years.

Used to be an ol'time favorite. Service here has never been 'great' but the food is. A dark/dingy bar with pool tables and buck hunter on one side -> a middle section with booth/table seating, and area and a well lit bar on the other side. Take your pick. The pizza here has always been great. I don't drink anymore but they update taps with new craft brews on the reg.

The service food and craft beer selection is outstanding. Plus there are three venues (two bars, and a dining area) with enough TV's to watch multiple events at the same time.

Typical local sports bar with much better than typical local sports bar food. We had a small business meeting over lunch. Food was great and the atmosphere was very nice for this. Really appreciated our waitress for taking good care of us without interrupting our meeting. Great job everyone! Looking forward to the next visit.

I've been eating at Turtles for almost 30 years and the quality and consistency has never changed. If you want the ultimate comfort food and a bar where everyone knows your name, this is THE place for you. Highly recommend the Hey Dude Pizza. It's been known to cure what ails you. Whenever I'm back in Minnesota I have to eat here. It's a requirement!

We were next door at Shakopee Brewhall and decided we wanted to get something to eat so tried Turtles. Turtles consists of three rooms - a dining room with a bar on each side. There is zero ambiance here; furniture is VFW-style. Lots of TVs if you're needing to watch a sporting event. The hostess and the waitress were very friendly and efficient. On the advice of some other reviewers we went with pizza (the Hey Dude) and tap beer. The pizza was great and they do have a lengthy list of local brews. We were there on a Saturday night and it was very busy. There was a wait for tables as we left. So, I'd maybe come back if I was in the area and didn't have other options but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Best food in shakopee. It's a go to place for the family. Staff is very friendly and always seem to be happy. Building always looks clean. It's a very busy place and if you have to wait in line to be seated I recommend waiting as the food is AMAZING!

I eat there a lot. I havent had a bad meal there. The place gets really busy so sometimes it might take a few minutes to get served. But staff work really hard to take care of everyone.

Decent place to get dinner and have a drink, but nothing special. The service was ok at best and the wait was horrendous. It took us almost an hour and a half to get a quick drink and a bite to eat. Plus I wasn't even asked if I wanted another drink as our waitress never came back. Wouldn't go back by choice but if someone dragged me there again, I would tag along.

Cons-how can you wreck a salad? The veggies were not fresh at all. Not sure what dressing was on it, but it wasn't the blue cheese I requested. The green peppers were soggy and looked like they'd been frozen or cooked. Reuben sandwhich had some kind of shredded yellow cheese on it? Pros-the service was great. The craft beers were excellent. The breads were tasty. We'll be trying a different place next time.
