The new remodel of the buffet looks amazing. But that was the only good thing about my experience. It was way over priced and it was absolutely disgusting. So not worth 20 bucks and some change. Even the lady that sat a table away was complaining that the food was not good. Other than that had a pretty good time with my over all experience.

When we got there we went straight into the hotel side to check in. Waited about 10 minutes to check in as there was a small line. Took the elevator to the second floor. Room said no smoking but there was a distinct smoke smell. We hadn't gone into the casino before checking in so we didnt have time to bring the smoke with. Room was fine. Bed was comfy and clean. I want to come back and visit again as the concert took up most of the night but it was a great intimate setting for the show we saw. On a second visit i had a much more enjoyable time. The adult swim hours are wonderful! The food in the restaurants we tried were pretty impressive. The room was clean and no smoke smell. Much happier visit.

Thank you so much for the night a way ! My son passed this last July! 42 years He called one day last Oct said mom mom by our right there is something great about this higher power! In the time I've been going to the Grand casino (last 10 years or so) we've had some interesting experiences here. One night the fire alarms were going off for like half an hour and no one really seemed bothered by it. Or one night their computer system was down and we couldn't get a room that wasn't already occupied (that night was messed up, we went to 4 or 5 different rooms just to find people or their bags already in the room). Management gave us a tiny little food processor for our troubles (must have been the free giveaway that day). Last night (a Monday) we thought we'd try and get a room since we are players club members and have comp rooms available any day of the week except Friday. My boyfriend was told that yes he did have comp rooms on his account and they had rooms available but they weren't accepting any coupons at this time. What? Why? We would've spent a lot more money there if I had been able to gamble. I had to stay with my son since they couldn't give us a room, and there's no kids quest anymore. The arcade was awful last night too, there's about 6 working games in the whole place, normally I'd spend more money there as well. I included a picture of the completely valid coupon we were not able to use, wish someone could give me a real explanation on this issue.

I love this place. It’s nice to get away from it all, and the drive is exceptionally beautiful in the fall. The food is great, gambling is fun, and the hotel rooms are clean.

Awesome place to go for dinner, drinks, and gambling. The seafood buffet is my absolute favorite, they also have a delicious selection of pies for dessert. Overall a great place to go have some fun!

Our Thanksgiving tradition continues strong. We love coming here for dinner. The remodel was nice, it greatly improved the flow of people. The service this year could have been better, it has been for past years, but overall a great day.

I don't gamble. Came here for a show. Piled us in like sardines in uncomfortable seating. Bar servers had no sense of urgency, or really any bartending knowledge. But, everything else was good. Kind employees. The food at the 51(?) was phenomenal.

The rooms are nice updated very comfortable beds. Employees are very friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms are extremely clean and well maintained. The casino is under construction on the main floor of the slot machines, so it's kind of jumbled and clustered. The restaurants are very good. Would not recommend the buffet. A very limited selection compared to other casinos.

More fun than I should have listing. Not the best for payouts but has a wider selection of games that others in the area. The club perks are almost non-existent unless you've been donating paychecks. Mystic has a club card with benefits enough to make me travel the extra 3 hours to enjoy my club membership.

We stopped in to try the new buffet, but unfortunately they were closed on Tuesdays. So we'll pay more attention to the hours next time! Back in February we ate at the Brand Burger Bar and that was pretty tasty. I don't love the casino setting nor the cigarette smoke, but it's tolerable in order to get good food. ;)

Hotel room was nicer than I expected. Comfortable and clean. The pool was large along with the hot tub. Casino and bars were quite nice. Staff were all nice also. Smoky like other every other casino.

Great place to go, don’t usually win a lot but the games are cool and I have fun when I go. The staff is really friendly and helpful when needed. I stayed at the hotel there and was pleased with how it went. But the rooms can be a bit swanky l, I feel like they don’t upkeep the hotel rooms as well as they do the gambling floor. But still had fun!

Good rooms. Great location. Plenty of dining options. I recommend the 1991 restaurant and sit at the bar with Travis. Plenty of gaming options. I encountered many families as well. The best price I could find was online and when contacting the hotel directly their price was double. Check online as well as calling the property is imperative. Very slow check in and NO ironing board or iron in the room.

Pleasant surprise! First timer - everything was great. Exceptional friendly service from everyone. Room was clean and very comfortable. Did the lunch and brunch buffets. Reasonable price, standard buffet fare. Ribs on lunch buffet were excellent quality and taste. Grabbed pizza, burger and fries at Plum. Okay budget, great pizza, good prices. Ordered a specialty drink at Cup and Cone - Star Spangled Shake. Worth every penny and the extra prep time! The pool area is large, clean, and has a wonderful hot tub. Excellent weekend all around!

The staff is knowledgeable but turnover is high, staff is underpaid and there is a lot of burn out. The slots are always updated and fun, the tables are great, usually with 6 to 8 tables on slow nights and up to 16 tables plus a separate poker room 3 nights a week. Be careful with the hotel, which can get overbooked and poorly cleaned due to staffing cuts. The 1991 kitchen serves good food and plums is the local 24/7 go to for great sandwiches and pizza. The B3 burger bar has a wonderful selection both bottled and on tap but be careful of the fried food because the kitchen is understaffed. Great concerts and venues are held in the convention center but this can also lead to over-booking in the hotel. Best words of advice, great place to go and eat and play but find a room or rental cabin up the shore in Garrison

Put some good new games in the non smoking section. Terrible. And the room needs to be completely sealed so smoke can't get in there! This big remodel didn't do a thing! A person can barely breath in the casino. Put in some vents. BETTER YET, GO TOTALLY SMOKE FREE!

The casino was well maintained, and everything was easy to find. The restrooms were clean and fully functioning, although there were only three stalls in the restroom we used. Everything seemed to be functioning well. We even came out ahead! It was a nice short stop.

Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Food in their main restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Only draw back was at 5 am the plum grab and go restaurant had no coffee! I am a trucker...I want coffee to start my day. Right next to it has coffee but not until 6 am.

Much improved over last visit. Now with a bar The casino has a much larger feel. Food was good, drink and service was way better and I ran into (mostly) friendly staff. Check-in can definitely be improved. Yes, they have full alcohol service bars now.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and had a clean room that only cost 10 dollars after special discounts. I've never had a problem finding a card table. A little smokey but that's expected for casinos. They told us about a breakfast that didn't exist which was a bummer. Overall it was a good stay.

Great atmosphere, live band and new restaurants with amazing food! The rooms are newly remodeled, very comfortable and nice! The gambling is really enjoyable when playing cards. The dealers are friendly and knowledgeable. Great perks. We always have a wonderful time here. They also started serving alcohol! Always a plus! Fair prices!

Nice place. Drenched in cigarette smoke (it is a casino) but the rooms are divided away from the casino so the rooms don't smell like smoke and are pretty nice. Our biggest issue came in the pool area (a couple had their 7 year old swimming while they were in the enormous hot tub). She kept trying to come in with us (signs clearly state no one under the age of 14 is permitted in the hot tub) but the kept letting her come in, playing with a beach ball (that kept hitting us). Another couple got out and went into the pool to get away from the oblivious family who soon forced them back into the hot tub. At several points mom and dad were going TO TOWN on each other on a pool chair while their daughter was swimming in the hot tub with us. I only bring this up because security came through (came to us in the hot tub) and saw the child in the hot tub and said absolutely nothing about it. Rude people will be rude, but if there is a violation of you safety policies security should be able to enforce them. Despite the pool issue (which was just uncomfortable) our stay was pleasant and my fiance won a few slots...always a plus!

Note that this is the first big casino I have been to, so it might be the case that most casinos are like this. But nevertheless, almost the entire casino floor is slot machines which even for slot machines are boring. Some don't even have effects or anything. It is the most boring and quickest way to drain your money possible. The only interesting thing they have is several tables of blackjack and poker. And even some of the poker (3 card poker) doesn't depend on anything besides chance either. I guess maybe people don't go to casinos to do anything that would count as a game. In the end, really boring and depressing place.

Aside from the stale smoke smell that permeates all casinos the rooms were clean the food was good and the games were plenty. Not as much to do with a two year old but she had a good time nevertheless. Will definitely be back as this is one of the best bargains for hotels on the lake.

Its ok. The room rates are excellent. The down fall is: there's no where to get a meal, there's a lot of fast food sittings but they took the buffet and restaurants out. So, burgers burgers and pizza if that's what you like. Otherwise is a nice place to go.

Friendly staff, and is clean. Plums has great food for good prices. Their new bar/grille is excellent. The burger grille is also very good. Little steep on prices, but excellent food. Casino part is very smokey and crowded. Typical casino action though. Nice pool, hotel rooms are nice and clean. Smoke ventilation is the only thing that kept this from a 5 star rating. Time to add some more vents.

We had lunch there only. The food was well prepared. Tasted as good as. It looked. Good wait staff. Reasonable prices.

Hotel room was great, food was awesome, pool was not crowded and we won at the casino! Only reason I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is because a security guard stopped our son from coming up the elevators to our room because he didn't have a room key. He had to call us from the lobby for me to come get him... Wasn't happy...

Staff was rude during several interactions. Poor customer service. Would not allow me to check in with my husbands name, it had to be him so we had to switch stuff around in a bad snowstorm with our kids in the car. Service a restaurant very slow. Missing items we had ordered. Good food however when we did get it. Finally, the interaction we had with gift shop staff was the WORST! I felt unwelcome. Next time we will go to a hotel elsewhere, I suggest others do as well.

I had a great time playing at the tables and winning a little money. Nice staff very helpful with assisting myself and several others with our vehicle issues. Good food best shakes. Best conversation is with a nice lady enjoying a great winning streak and sharing memories and laughs while having a few drinks.
