We ate at the buffet, not only did we wait in line for 47 minutes. They only had bottled sodas, cause the machines were down on a Friday night. They weren't cold at all. The crab legs have gotten worse and worse just like the free play. 1st jackpot has less variety but much better crab legs. Use to love this place, but it's going down..

Very much a casino versus a hotel. We came as part of a reunion. And that warm friendly aspect seemed missing. If you like a casino, you would like this place. The food was actually good here. The Chicago Steakhouse was over priced. The Pickle & Jam was more in line with quality and price for good value. The reunion banquet meal was quite good, very well seasoned, with two great entree choices. Enjoyed a choice of desserts. The rooms and room service were excellent. The casinos are isolated in a very quiet part of the state. The overall stay was good. A little more emphasis of our reunion would have given more stars.

We loved everything and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The casino despite allowing smoking it did not seem Smokey. The slots were not that free with big payouts but kept you playing. Every staff member seem pleasant and always smiling, especially Janet at the morning buffet.

I like coming to this casino because it’s not too crowded. I’m always able to find a machine that I’m looking for. The drinks are good, and some of the servers are friendly. I’ve stayed in the hotel once and it was nice and clean. My husband and I had a nice view of the river. The room was nice and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. The room service was fast and the food was good. The pool and exercise room was clean. The only complaint i have is, on the weekends it’s hard finding parking close to the hotel. I would stay here again.

It was wonderful I enjoyed myself multiple choice of machinery. I will be back and I enjoyed myself great hospitality maybe not win no money but it's all entertainment all fine thanks Gold Strike for your hospitality. But maybe I need to get a little more promotion free slot play income for Buffet Mabel open. A very secret service received promotion from you all don't know why don't understand it. The room we stayed in was just okay. There was no mini fridge or microwave and the A/C was mediocre at best. The bathroom was spacious, however. The beds were clean but definitely on the squishy side - not my cup of tea but that's obviously personal preference. The receptionist was polite and courteous. Overall, the building was well kept and clean; no complaints there! After staying there, I still prefer the rooms at Horseshoe. They are recently remodeled and definitely have a more modern feel, not to mention they do include the aforementioned fridge and microwave. I would say I was satisfied, but I'll stick with Horseshoe when I go down that way. Rating: 3.5/5

Check in was very easy and staff member that checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Room was great even though we had a room right above lights, the blackout curtains did their job! Concession stand was pricey but so glad there was one as there is not of places close by open late. Would recommend this place!

If you are looking for a great meal then the buffet on Friday nights is pretty good. They serve seafood and other items from different perspectives. My wife and I mainly go because of the crab legs, which she loves, but there are plenty of other items to choose from. The staff is friendly and they serve wine as an included perk in the price of the meal. Speaking of the price... That is my only knock. It is quite expensive for a couple of adults to eat but if you are looking to switch things up and not necessarily looking for "upscale" then Gold Strike is a good choice.

Imagine realizing you lost your wallet several hours after checking into a large casino hotel on a weekend with a special event in the area and the hotel, lobby and casino are filled to capacity...well, that was me. I checked in, went to the room to recover from the travel and freshen up and realized I did not have my wallet that had EVERYTHING in it. I immediately went downstairs and spoke to the concierge. They called security and that is when I met Billy. I have to say that Billy and the rest of the security team did not waste any time listening to my hysterical plea to help me find my wallet. I told them that the only other place it could be besides the lobby was in the car which was in the valet. Billy had security start pulling up the security cameras and they had the valet pull the car around and Hallelujah!! My wallet was there. I was so happy and thankful to Billy and his handsome coworker..can't remember his name but (wow!) :). Now I have to admit those slots were incredibly tight but besides that I have to say my stay was very pleasurable. Every employee was kind and pleasant from Billy in security, to Moe in the concierge (another wow!) , Abdullah in the buffet and that's only to name a few. I have to say I am a stickler for customer service and every interaction I had was pleasant and that made my stay wonderful. My only complaint..no microwave or fridge in the rooms and I was there for 3 days so that would have been nice. Great job to all the employees..thank you very much. See you next time. :)

I had a good time here. But it was way too smoky. If you don't deal well with cigarette smoke you should avoid this establishment. I likely will not return due to the smoke.

I always enjoy the service there. Buffet is good. My only complaint is that ever since I was promoted to Gold, I no longer get free buffets, just BOGO Sunday-Thursday. Their new Pickle and Jam eatery is very nice. Steakhouse is great.

I went with my cousin for him to play some blackjack he lost 1000 dollars at the 25 $ table and they comped him a pack of cigarettes. I was just there for support. Although I do not gamble myself. Never have. never will. Enjoyed my time with him other than that I do not approve myself and that is my opinion.

Love this place..excellent food, customer service.. and best comps. Hotel rooms are very clean and modern. Slots are relatively loose. Would definitely recommend!!!!

My wife and I have been here a number of times. The people are very polite I'm the gambler in our group I love all the table games not much of a slot player Love the three card progressive. We also love the comps. We're going back this April. It's close to Memphis so if we want to party music is close by.
