We stayed in one of their back parking lots. You have to get a parking permit from the valet station, but that's no big deal. The casino is very well kept. If you get their players card and give them your email you get $10 of gaming and $15 in dining credit. Quite the deal! They are located right on the beach. We had the Sunday buffet. Lots of options, but a lot of the food could have been hotter. We will definitely be back.

I went into the new section which was really nice. Almost all glass and you can see a great view of the ocean. Nice selection of games. There is also a coffee bar at the new section with good coffee and pastries. Easy access to the other casino by a cover walkway.

The casino and hotel was so nice. The casino is broken it two parts. One part is the non smoking side is where you get the nice ocean view. The other side is the smoking side. The buffet was so amazing. The staff and facilities were so great.

My sister and I come from the Orlando and Jacksonville areas. We have had the pleasure of staying many times at the Island View. They display an exemplary approach to Casino Management! You are greeted by quite a refreshing atmosphere upon arrival, entry, and during the entire stay. The staff at all levels takes the time to look you in the eyes and say "Hello" when passing you on property. Even the security guards acknowledge and conversate with you. You feel like you are home and a member of the family. When in your room and need to request anything, you had better be dressed as maintenance has a lightning fast team response. I was truly impressed when the housekeeping supervisor offered to fill my request personally as assigned staff was at lunch. The players club/ promotions team area, and program is off the chain with more than enough exciting events to keep you engaged. There is no lull in the action. You never want or need to leave. "Heads up!" Gulf Coast, with the opening of the new beach side, non smoking casino, there is a new "BEAST" of a casino in town! "See you there!"

One of the better casino's on the coast. Large gaming floor very spaced out and open with a wide variety of games. Has 2 hotels and recently opened a large non smoking gaming floor in newer hotel along with several dining options. Buffet is typically pretty good here. Do not recommend staying here if you have kids though. They are not allowed to even use the swimming pool. Have to be 21 or over for it as well here.

The stuff here were all awesome. They sent a shuttle to our hotel to pick us up and from there on, everyone was great. All you can eat seafood buffet with endless Snow Crab! Normally $30 per person but we got it free from the hotel. Lots of very high tech slot machines. Nice that smoking and non smoking gaming were completely separate. Shuttled again when we were ready to go.

Service needs much to be desired. Potato Soup had crab seasoning in in. Food was cold. Employees walking around with hands in pockets. Was told they didn't have pickles for burger but was on menu and management said they did have them. Wasn't told Thanks, come back or anything by Hosting Staff. They were to busy talking about other important life issue.

Wonderful place to get away for a few days. Food is super good and the hotel is top of the line. Casino is large enough that you do not feel crowded. The comps are also great ..There are comps for food, free slot play, kiosk comps, and many others. My wife and I prefer this Resort over all the others on the Mississippi Coast. If you have a chance to visit Island View, do so. You will not be disappointed.

I really love it. The beach tower and the hotel rooms on that in are awesome and so clean. There is a small fridge in the room which a lot of hotels are lacking nowadays. They have a pool on both the beach side and casino. All pools now have a age requirement of 21, but there is beach access for everyone. There is no smoke smell. Awesome dining choices. CG grill is great with huge portions. An amazing experience each time we visit.

Allergy sufferers beware! As a non-smoker and an infrequent gambler, I normally do not visit casino hotels unless I am attending business conventions. I am very familiar with the unpleasantness I experience while walking through the casino to my room. However, in the six or seven casino hotels I’ve stayed at previously, the allergens never permeated the rooms. I would like to point out that many, many people have no problem with air quality… but I feel it necessary to warn anyone who suffers from allergies or asthma to avoid this hotel. Enjoying a road trip with my sister, we decided to stop here for a couple of nights. The building itself seemed clean and the staff was friendly. However, there were hairs left in the shower and for some reason the valet employees do not open doors, greet, or help with baggage. Out of the four times we used the valet, only the gentleman at our departure assisted us. I wasn’t sure if it was company policy to not help and we got a good one… Or it is company policy to help, but all the other times we got bad ones. Had the only exceptions been the shower hair and valet, I would not be writing this review. However, their air quality is such that we cut our road trip short and I am returning home a day early to recuperate.

The rooms are nice neat and clean. They are beautiful. The view of the ocean is very nice. I don't know anything about the service because i haven't used it, but they do have valet parking plus self service parking.

I give ISLAND VIEW a solid 4 out of 5! The Buffet is not the best but however they do have Crab Legs every night for those who love them. As for their deserters, they have a nice selection of gelato ice cream and personal favorite of mine, the funnel cake station. From the hotel to casino floor plus over all cleanliness I give it a 5/5.

The food was fabulous at Carter Green's. We sat at the bar for dinner, as we always do. The girls behind the bar had some serious bad attitudes going on. No smile, little eye contact, no interaction.... just, well, nothing. It was actually kinda funny watching them go out of their way to be grumpy. We've not experienced that anywhere so perhaps they were having a bad night. A really bad night. So your best bet is to have dinner in the restaurant and skip the bar. We will be doing that next time.

I'm a frequent visitor and current V-card holder and Island View is my favorite casino on the coast. However, my visit last weekend was very disappointing. 1. My hotel room (5069 casino side) was located above the daily garbage pickup which occurs at about 5:30 am! And you can't sleep through that approximate ten minute process! 2.The refrigerator leaked all over carpet and maintenance could not repair and there was no replacement available. 3. They relocated me to a room (5013) where the toilet ran continuously and that refrigerator freezes everything! 4. Went to the Diner for lunch to get Saturday blue plate fried pork chop and was told they ran out of them by 12:30. Really?!? 5. I thought I left something in room 5069 when I changed rooms and contacted housekeeping and security for assistance and was informed that Lost and Found dept was only open a few hours a day and that I would have to wait until the next morning to get help. UNACCEPTABLE for such a large casino to have this policy! I look forward to hearing that these issues have been addressed.

The best casino in Mississippi! It is privately owned by Rick Carter and Tom Green. The casino gives the most comps in the state to New players as well as old. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the accounting are excellent. There is an abundance of places to eat from casual to fine dining. Two fabulous pools and a number of bars at this location. Entertainment is excellent there and ranges from little known artists to well established stars. The owners provide allot of assistance locally, as well as in other states for disaster relief.i frequently hi to Mississippi and always stay at Island View Casino Resort even though I have rooms comped to me at many other casinos. Definitely the best bang for your buck.
