Love to go to Ellis Island Casino and Brewery! It's a block off the Strip, behind Ballys/Paris on Local. Ellis Island is like a small locals casino who loves to have travelers visit. Gaming is very good; it's a very comfortable casino. Speaking of comfort, you have to try their food. Everything is wonderful and delicious and at such reasonable prices! You will be amazed! Try the steak special, which is a large top sirloin, potato of choice and wonderful garlic green beans. This Is NOT on the menu; you have to ask for it. It's 9.99, but if you have a players card (if not, get one) and spend $10 coin in, you get the special for 7.99. They also have wonderful fish and chips!

Went for a night out on a budget. Signed up for rewards and had the Steak dinner at the cafe, good sized portions. They also had steak and eggs on special and it looked good for $7. Also had cheap $2.50 craft beers at the bar. Overall spent less than $40 and had a pretty good time!

We went to Ellis Island specifically for their steak special. Can't beat that deal! Get a players club card, do some gambling, and you can get a 10oz steak, green beans, potato, and a salad for $7.99. Ellis is an older casino and that shows but they are also doing some remodeling and updating currently so we are interested to see what it is like when they are all done. Again, the steak special is a great deal and the food was good. Also, all of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

My family and I dined at a restaurant here. Their steak meal was a great deal as it came with salad, steak, green beans and your choice of potatoes for just $9.99. We left very full and took home enough leftovers for another meal. Their slot machines and tables were more affordable than other casinos, so we were able to play more and enjoy our time here. Overall, I would definitely recommend this casino and will be coming back.

We stop by this place every time we're in Vegas and love it! Being meat lovers, my son and I go in for the Double Cut Prime Rib dinner for around$25. We share it and its more than satisfying.. I also have to say that the table staff is the best in town! Very friendly, helpful and attentive. I love the craps table here and with the low limit of $5 you can play all day! We will keep coming back for sure, thank you guys for the great experience!

My best experience in Vegas! Great service and incredible drink prices! We happened to go when they started karaoke and it ended up being the best night during this stay! Also met plenty of great people from around the world! Can't wait until the renovations are complete!

One block off the strip on Local, Ellis Island is a great place to go for both locals and vacationers. The food is great at a real bargain price. We love to go for their fish and chips. They also have an excellent steak special which isn't on the menu. A big top sirloin, salad, choice of potato and garlic green beans for $9.99. If you play through $5, I think, and swipe the kiosk, you can get a coupon for $2 off that steak special. So worth It! The gaming there is also excellent. That's why we locals also go there!

Party of nine had to wait over an hour for food order. 3 orders cooked improperly. Waitress never came near the table to ask to refresh drinks or anything else. Talked to the manager, rather than giving an apology, he called me a liar and said what do you expect me to do about it. Going to Vegas for 50 yrs. Absolute worst service I've ever encountered. I suggest everyone to avoid this restaurant . Contacted the guest services manager Drew Scott with no response. Contacted next person up the ladder with no response. This casino should be avoided at all costs. It's obvious they care nothing about customer service.

The casino here is quite small, but it is comfortable and there is a nice variety of games, including some full pay video poker. The slot Club gives you good perks, including a discount on a steak meal in the cafe. We had that for lunch and it was very good. Only $7.99 4 a nice thick steak, choice of potato and green beans along with choice of soup or salad. A great bargain! There are a few other venues to eat at as well. I have heard good things about the barbecue restaurant, and there is a little taco stand any little pizza stand inside as well. We will definitely be back!

We went for the first time and signed up for the players club and for a steak dinner coupon. fabulous! My steak was gristly and gross but the server was awesome and replaced it! The beans were plentiful and the potato was plain but good. Especially with the sour cream. 😍 The service was great and quick and didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. Beers we're only $2.50 for 16oz. 👌👌

The restaurant is super busy and noisy but very efficient and service is quick. We ordered the 'secret' steak dinner special and it was excellent and plentiful with happy and attentive service. The local reviews confirm that this place is a winner where the locals love to come and the number of people cheering loudly for the LV Knights confirms it! The hotel was busy, economical and comfortable although the bar fridge in the rooms do not have freezers which is an inconvenience for some. The hallways could stand to be vacuumed a bit more frequently...

For the price, it’s a great hotel. Spacious rooms, kind staff (though the front desk line moves at a snail’s pace), calm location. My room could have been a bit cleaner—finding someone else’s hair on the carpet grosses me out, but this is common at many mid-range hotels—but the bathroom was spic-and-span. A taxi driver told me that Ellis Island’s adjacent restaurant is the best place in town for steak and eggs. Hotel is right next to a 7-Eleven convenience store with fresh fruit ! 15-min walk to The Strip.

this was such a good choice that it made my week, humorous and lively attendants, they mastered the selfie technique. enough entertainment and buzz in the place, take a photo and send to friends while waiting for your table. or sit at the many slot machines..and the food, most excellent. nice lady gave us a 50% off coupon for a steak dinner and felt it was under priced so we ordered the prime rib which was just as fantastic. had it with wine and the evening went fine ..super value and a place not to be missed. great food with fun company made for a welcome fit for the early immigrants.

All we can say is that we were surprised by this hotel. It was renewed around 2016 when it became Ellis Hotel (it was a Super 8) and it is yet in awesome conditions. Comfortable bed, spacious bedroom, well-built bathroom, hot restoring shower and, more than everything, it is unbelievably well-located! Right in the heart of the Strip, but just two squares to the East, easily done walking. If you're looking for a good hotel but doesn't want to spend so much like the ones located on Strip, this Hotel is the best choice! PS1: try the Ellis Barbecue Restaurant right next to the Hotel! Great food for affordable prices! PS2: they use to give a free growler of local beer made by Ellis Brewery!
