The only reason this place can get a one star is if you get food poisoning from them.. The first thing wanted to do is get a drink and that was the nastiest tap I have ever had. Tasted like dirt. How does that happen with a high end and award winning race track!? Clean your tap system out before you make other ppl sick..

Expect the worst parking you could ever imagine. Getting out of the parking is unbelievably unorganized. Uber and limos all causing traffic jam. Food in the park was very poor quality and over priced. Very slow service. The lines to place bets are very long takes 20 minutes to place bets. Under staffed. Only the horses racing was good. Skip Del Mar opening day.

Always love my trips to Del Mar. One of the most beautiful and enjoyable tracks anywhere. Fun and exciting and many things to do for the whole family.

Came to see War concert live also ate at Ballast Point Bar and Grill food was very good and not overpriced all in all it was a good experience. The alcohol was a bit pricey but you know you are at the racetrack

Great race place. Many places to order a drink and watch the horse races. I was there for BC day 1 it was fun!

Gteat fun... Our Company had a day there an it was super fun, got to hang out together inside the track. Betting is easy and people will help you. You also can make $1 or $2 bets.

WE go to Del Mar races frequently . Terrific environment and very good racing . BUT price of drinks and food is outrageous. No need to charge so much . its plain greed. Why > Would give 5 stars but for the outrageous price of food and drinks.
