Nipper's Pool Bar

My wife got a great deal through Groupon, stayed there for about 3 days 2 nights with my family. Was about couple of blocks away from the strip which wasn't too bad. The rooms where average size with 2 queen size beds. Pool area was nice for both adults and children closed a bit early at 8 pm. They have their restaurant Hooters and a Steak and Shake both open 24/7.

The inside of the hotel is nice. The rooms were nice too. Small casino, good if you really want to gamble and aren't there for the mix and partying. Food is mediocre.....bottom line is it's a good hotel for the price and the rooms are decent. Right off the main strip and close to everything. I recommend.

Decided to go over and eat and the restaurant, but the minute you walk in the Casino it felt very old and dated! It was extremely HOT! Made our way back to the restaurant where I felt we were not greeted very nicely! We requested a booth and the young lady very rudely made it clear there was not one available. So we asked to wait! It felt like we were a bother to be honest! Once seated about 15 later I thought things would change! I think I saw our waitress smile maybe once! This place changed my whole view on Hooters! If you're a Male you will get way better service!

Great little casino. Cheap tables so close to the strip. The blackjack dealer was so personable and helpful for us, being newish players. Made it really fun and relaxed compared to the hardcore dealers at other casinos nearby. $1 and $3 blackjack tables were always full and fun. Highly recommend.

This is decent place to stay if you are looking to save money, but still want to enjoy Vegas. It is a little dated and dingy, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is just a short walk to the strip and a short drive from the airport (cheap uber). The steak and shake in the hotel is brand new, and it's nice, but it's a steak and shake so service is slow by default. The food was still good, despite the wait.

Pleasantly surprised! I remember this hotel used to be pretty run down a couple of years ago. Totally cleaned up now. Comfortable rooms for those on a budget. Good food. Good pool. Good value. I'd definitely stay here again.

Vegas is a very "get what you pay for" kind of town. This place is one of the exceptions in the best way possible. If you want a lower key spot on the south strip don't gloss over this place. Very friendly staff, great drink deals. It has that downtown fun feel without the downtown. Don't pass this place up!

Mixed thoughts Review of Hooters Casino Hotel Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile I stayed at Hooters from May 21st through May 25th 2018. This is going to be a little longer than usual review but worth it if you read it. Let's start with the cons first: 1. The room sink drain and tub drain was clogged. So I ended up taking showers for 4 days in standing water. Maintenance came through to fix it but it did not work they told me they were coming back to snake it but that never happened either. Maintenance told me this was an ongoing problem with the pipes. 2. I stayed in room 546 when the room above me showered the pipes rattle as loud as you can imagine the problem was it was 2am in the morning. 3. Had to wait to check in till after 4 when we got to the room to our surprise it was still dirty see pictures below. 4. The music by the pool was good until we found out it was one CD that played over and over and over again my God please just turn on a radio. 5. The room air conditioner was broken and loud when it came on but blew no cold air. Yes that's right no air conditioning in Vegas. Now let's talk about the pros: 1.I got the room at a discounted rate$28 a night with a 25$ a night food voucher so basically I paid $3 a night for the room. 2. The food was good and there was no limitations on the vouchers. Yes you can even buy alcohol. 3. During our stay they must have been training new bartenders we got a lot of free drinks so that was cool. 4. The staff in the Hooters restaurant we're fabulous great job. A couple of the waitresses by the pool disappeared it was hard to get a bucket of beers. 5. The weight room was excellent. As far as strip hotels go Hooters is the Motel 6 of the big resorts. NO; I take that back I would not want to insult Motel 6. Let's face it people Hooters is a very big brand name so my expectations were high. Remember the title mixed thoughts what I stay here again? It's me and the boys were going out for a weekend trying to save money with food vouchers I would give it a try. If I was taking my girl to Vegas I would just take a few extra dollars stay at the Rio or the stratosphere or some other recently remodel Resort. If you're the kind of person that parties 20 hours out of the day and not in your room that much the environment at the hotel was cool. It is very clear this hotel is understaffed throughout the day so this reflects on the hotel manager and those who are in charge of filling positions the cleanliness of these rooms gives Hooters a disservice based on their...Show less Stayed: May 2018, traveled with friends

Recently refurbished rooms make this a great cheap place to stay close to the action but just off the Las Vegas strip. Medium sized rooms but furnished nicely. Very clean none of the issues they had before upgrade. Despite the name there aren't really any Hooters girls to be seen, the staff were all mature aged Philippino ladies in white shirts, typical Casino attire. (actually I believe the Casino sold and will changing name shortly) The pool here is possibly the only one in Vegas open 24/7 (most close at sundown due to insurance concerns) Very affordable prices - rooms can be in the $20 range (plus resort fee) PRO TIP: keep an eye out for rooms here on the Hotels Tonight app for best deals.

It was early morning and I needed some food and drinks. The food was awesome for 2:30 in the morning and the drinks were comped since I was also enjoying a video poker machine at the bar. The service was great! They were all very polite and courteous. Always smiled and very helpful for being so late/early. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in here to kill some time gambling while waiting for some friends to get in town. Middle of day. Rough clientele. Sketchy characters inside and outside and very little security. Didn't even get in the front doors and a guy tried to pimp out some old hag on me. Dead serious. Place seemed dumpy. Just not my cup of tea and that's ok. Hopefully you have a better experience.

We were hungry and heard that hooters has pretty good wings so we decided to give this place a try. I ordered wings along with shrimp and the portions are pretty large. Wings were delicious and the shrimp was okay. Would come back for the wings!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. They gave us several coupons for free play, table match, food, and drinks. They have $1 frozen margaritas and $1 blackjack. Our dealer was very friendly and made it easy for my first time at the blackjack table. 24 hour steak and shake was great for cheap food. Comfy and clean rooms. We will definitely be staying here again. We have already discussed making Hooters our new go to hotel for our vegas trips.

Had a great time at Hooters. Stayed four nights and the hotel was accommodating to all of our needs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable enough. The only issue I had was finding food after a late night. Its location is nice and slightly off the strip, but it’s right next to the Tropicana where you can walk to catch the tram at Excalibur to visit the Luxor and Mandalay Bay or catch the metro at the MGM across the street to explore the other side of the strip. Price is on point. I recommend Hooters for those not wanting to waste a lot of money on a hotel room you won’t use that much because, hey, it’s Las Vegas!

Nipper's Pool Bar

This was my first time in Vegas and Hooters was a total disappointment. Only good things about this hotel was the default view and free parking. The bathtubs and toilets were dirty. They have plumbing issues. The closet door was broken. The safe was locked so I called the room service and they said they will send someone to open the safe for me. No one showed up. From the outside it looks decent but they really need to fix up the inside a bit. Just a below average experience.

I stayed for almost a week and no problems. I enjoyed myself, the casino has great low minimum bets for new gamblers, I was given a lot of coupons for discounted food, free food, free drinks, and free money towards gambling. The free coupons were an added plus. The food options are good and located on the first floor. Good time overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here

I used to love Hooters. A little longer than a year ago you would always find me here. 2-4 times a week. Slowly things changed for the worse. They took away popular slot machines, you would hear less and less about people winning. I’m not talking winning thousands, I’m talking 100s, maybe win your money back and a little something. (I do realize casinos have the upper hand, *payback. %s*) but things got tight super fast. You could probably tell by my past reviews that I’m an avid gambler, so I’ve been in there 20 or so times since Christmas and I haven’t left with any more then I walked in with. 95% of the time I was negative. The biggest reason for the 2 stars is the customer service at the cage (Cashier). I’d give one star but I love all the slot attendants. They truly keep that place some what decent. (They don’t have a lot to work with.) The employee turnover rate at the cage is significantly high I’d say for a casino on the strip. I know Hooters isn’t a union house but I’m sure they make decent wages. I feel like they just want to fill the spots and take whomever applied. I don’t know her name but there is an African American lady maybe mid to early 40s very short hair, she’s the most arrogant, rude, irate individual I’ve ever encountered at a casino. I don’t know why she has such an attitude but it’s like no matter what time or day it is she’s just in a very bad mood. And she’s a supervisor no less. Now if you encounter her you’ll understand what I mean by Management filling open positions with anyone who applies!
